September Chart: 1. Funk D’Void “Unknown” (CDR) Amazing. If you liked Diabla, you’ll love this monster and its infectious bassline. 1.5. Chable and Bonicci “Ride” (Alternative Route) Almost takes the top spot. Outstanding opener. 3. London 909 “Te Gusta Musica” (Diskraet Promo) If you’re feeling a bit unsteady, steer clear of this in the early morning. It’s a monster! 4. Sander Kleinenberg “Buenos Aires” (Little Mountain) Finally! My favorite tune off the 4 Seasons Pt. 3 collection that took ages to be released 5. Subsky “Strawberry Fields” (Original/Max Graham) (Release Promo) The T.O. boys strike again on what has emerged as my favorite label of ’03. 6. Alex Dolby “Psiko Garden” (Mantra Vibes) The extended version winds you down, spins you up, and then kicks you in the arse. 7. Echomen “Cure” (Saw Promo) I personally cannot stand the vocal, but I sure enjoy the dub! 8. Matthew Dekay “If I Could Fly” (Deep) Melodic as all get out. If only Twilo was still around . . . . 9. Blueprint/Chris Micali “Dubway/Chant” (Blueprint Promo) Both of these keep the floor groovin’ nicely and then pick up the pace a bit. 10. Cass “Kenjin” (Original/Infusion) (Saw) More quality stuff from Cass with a nice rework from Infusion. 11. James Zabiela “Excited” (Breaks Mix) (CDR) It’s not as good as the main mix, but a lot better than most of the stuff out there! 12. Umek “Voices of Africa Vol. 3” (Primate) Drums + a catchy hook = something Vic may like. 13. Unkle “Eye for an Eye” (Tyrant Mix) (Mo’ Wax) This one’s for Sushi Joe. 14. Underworld “Rez” (Breaks Mix) (White) This one’s for Darbe. 15. Fex “LoHand” (Castelli/Sattva) (Xplosion Promo) This is a nice early evening piece. 16. Rhythm Code “Meltz” (Minimal Promo) Stick to the Kingkade rmx. unless you like the vocal “Hey, that shit’s goooood!” (Which I don’t). 17. Jay Tripwire “Heavy Handed EP” (Inversus Promo) Keep an eye out for this guy, he’s set to blow up. 18. Brancaccio and Aisher “Night longa” (Bedrock Promo) It’s fun. That’s about it. 19. Agoria “Spinach Girl” (Different) Quality stuff from the land of fromage. 20. OZ is wicked. i recommend that you all go down and check it out. i met some locals, chilled avec mon familie et mange. the trip was really good overall. if you need any jeans or trainers, sydney is the place. jeans are EVERYWHERE. i think that 1/2 the world's denim supply was gone to the country. seems that gk has secured some employment, which makes me feel like crap (abby you had better get busy). well, i gotta go. hope all is well and don't fortget to raise a fist and resist. oh ya, vic, no i don't know what i'm doing, and yes that was a fubu shirt.
