    Not impressed with the Indians at all, btw. I think the Sox could sweep them. I also cant believe that either the Rockies or Dbacks will be in the WS. The mets had a fucking clear path to the WS and they blew it. Seriously, it was fucking paved and everything, but they fucking suck, so what're you gonna do, you know?

    congrats on underperforming so much the firs half of the year that you had to play .700 ball just to make the playoffs. Congrats.

    they definitely underperformed this year. but how is it any less of an accomplishment if they had to play .700 ball in the second half or if they played .500 ball? either way they made it. and again, what was your response to the redsox missing they playoffs last year with their giant payroll?

    I can't believe this was actually being argued here. Where did Cano bat nearly all year? 7th-8th? He had no protection and still got like 100 rbi. if you put him in baltimores lineup his numbers would go UP except for maybe his runs scored. plus, who said roberts is that much better defensively?

    cano will be a 30 HR 100 RBI guy starting next year. i mean this is just silly to say roberts is better. i actually think cano will be better than utley

    bx, you listen to kellerman dont you? i can tell because i listen to him also.

    youre right tho, willie isnt the reason the mets missed the playoffs. the bulpen, Jose Reyes flaming out(i dont think he stole a base in the last 15 games or something like that) and Delgado.

    However he is the manager and there has to be some culpability. The Mets have been the best team in that league for the last couple of yeas and cant make it to the WS. and this year couldnt even make the playoffs. hes gotta shoulder some of the blame. actually alot of it. seriously, if they couldnt make it to the playoffs in that league this year, then when the fuck will they?

    hes gotta go.

    Unlike the RedSox who finished in 3rd last year. What was their payroll, sir?

    vicman, how many playoff games have the Orioles/Nats/whateverotherfucking team you root for won? oh, zero? Thank you for visiting. I'm glad you have me in your avatar. I'm flattered.

    And the Yankees don't need an overhaul. Are you serious? Do you even realize how much younger and better the Ynks have gotten in the last 1-2 years? Cano, Melky, Joba, Hughes, Wang, Kennedy, Ohlendorf, etc. They've revamped their entire starting rotation and will slowly start to phase out the older guys like Jeter and Giambi.

    However, I DO believe they should revamp their coaching staff. Guidry simply does not make pitchers better. And Torre doesnt seem to manage young players well. Girardi did well with the marlins and their young players so that could work. and i hate larussa. plus i think him and jocketty would come as a package and i dont want to see cash go.

    it sucks that the yankees arent playing for world series rings anymore, but give me a fucking break. they make the playoffs every year and theyve been to the WS SIX fucking times in the last 10 years and have won 4 of them.

    They don't call it the Yankee Invitational for nothing.

    i had a sangria from tgi fridays the other day, it was fucking huge!!!! but it was alright....a lot of ice!

    i want to make some myself though def with some quesadillas or guacamole and chips or something!
