  1. Most of the clubs play UK hard house (hard trance), but there are still many clubs to choose from: Turnmills Heaven Pacha The Fridge Fabric Camden Palace The Coronet The End Based on your interests, check out Fabric or Turnills There's a bunch of others that escape my mind. -peter
  2. How does the crowd and vibe rank with the old Thursday parties at Centro? -Peter
  3. I found the same thing about London when I lived there.... Turnmills was one of the only clubs that would bring in consistent talent every Friday.... most of the other clubs play UK hard house which is must faster than what you would hear over here. -Peter
  4. how good you ask???? He was personally asked by John Digweed to headline his birthday party. If he's good enough for Digweed, then he's good enough for me. -Peter
  5. Thanks for the 411 Bumpdaddy... How often do the cops work with the clubs to pull this off? and how often are they working independent of the clubs? The bouncer trick is sneaky to say the least. -Peter
  6. Has anyone seen people taken down in a club by an undercover? I never have so I was wondering if this is something they do, or do they wait until you leave the club to nail you? -Peter
  7. D:Fuse is one of the sickest progressive dj's going right now... His sets are always on point. To have a residency at Release in SF, you have to be at the top of your game. -Peter
  8. club super sexe is a top-top notch strip club. Then head over to Stereo (stereo-nightclub.com) or Aria (aria-nightclub.com). Ste-Catherine is the main street in the city, so look for hotels around there. -Peter
  9. Where abouts in England? Where have you partied in London? I can tell you this, you won't hear any hard dance in nyc (what you would akin to hard house). You pretty much have a choice between house (what you would call funky house), and mostly progressive. There is a little bit of trance floating around, but not as much as the other types. As for places, Avalon and Crobar are supposed to be at the top of their game right now since they just opened up. Arc is alittle more underground but worth checking out. Alot of people will tell you Sound Factory is worth of a visit, but I can't speak from too much experience. There are others, but those are your best bet. -Peter
  10. What a scam... only a retard would enter their mother's maiden name.
  11. I actually agree with you here. 1) I have never seen a good set by Deep Dish with the exception of their GU 25 party in Toronto (which was only about 50% good) 2) I have never seen a good set from Timo Maas... or at least one where it looked like he was trying to have a nice progression to his music and not just randomly pick tracks. I personally think he should stick to producing. 3) Lawler can mix with the best of them, but anyone that's had to deal with him knows he's the biggest, most arrogant cocksucker in the world. For that reason alone I haven't been to any of his shows in a very long time. -Peter
  12. Don't get too excited about Jimmy's opening set. He often plays real down tempo just to warm up the crowd. I find he's alot better when he plays separate from S&D. -Peter
  13. WOW, this is right after the WMC too. Anybody who saw Digweed at Centro-fly on the Wed. after WMC last March can tell you how monumental that set was.... Of all the sets I have ever seen and all the clubs I have ever been to, that set still ranks #1. I may have to fly down to NY just to see if it can be topped. -Peter
  14. Just to clarify, Peter (not Peter North) is indeed in Toronto or at least has been as of about 2 weeks ago... Not sure about right now and I personally don't care.... As for his girlfriend, a friend of mine mentioned the name Lisa (can't remember the last name) who is supposed to be a writer... Second hand information from a very trusty source. -Peter
  15. Your best bet is 1015 folsom. They throw a spundae party on the Friday night and then Martel and Nabiel throw a party their on the Saturday night. If you want the names of other clubs then just mention it. -Peter
  16. A pic taken by a friend just before I get it on.
  17. 27. Stereo – Montreal , Canada Sorry, strike that Stereo comment But it should still be ranked higher.
  18. I've never heard of Extreme either and I used to live in Montreal. Plus, Cream is a party thrown by 514 productions. The party is unbelievable, but its not a club. In my opinion, Sona, 1015 and System Sound Bar should all be in the top 30. As much as I don't like Sona, there are few clubs in the world that are as legendary. Also, did Stereo in Montreal make the list? That club used to be ranked among the top in the world. And Aria should definitely be on this list. Plus, I have no clue how Fluid in Toronto even made this list and was ranked that high.
  19. I don't think anyone is arguing that all version of Windows suck. I am guessing that if his comp is running 98, he probably doesn't have the firepower to run XP (memory and processor). Checking the battery is a good place to start, but upgrading the OS and installing a bunch of service packs most likely won't help out this issue. Its pretty safe to say that this is h/w issue.
  20. The only guarantee is that Spundae will throw an amazing party at 1015 folsom on the Sunday night. 10pm - 6am, you won't want to miss it!
  21. Your looking at about 1 days worth of driving to get down there. As for motels, your best, safest and cheapest bet is to stay in one of the many motels on Huron Church street in Windsor on the Canadian side. Or you could stay in a hotel in downtown Windsor. DEMF occurs right across the border so its easy to get to.
  22. These "diet's" are useless and a scam. You could buy 2 large bottles of prune juice for 1/5 the price and the calories intake would essentially be the same. You basically starve yourself for 2 days and drop mostly alot of excess water weight. Then, after the second day, when you start eating again, you slap all the water weight back on within the next couple of days. Your best bet to lose weight is to eat smaller meals more times throughout the day and to stick with clean burning foods. An even distribution of carbs, proteins, and non-saturated fats. By clean burning, stick away from things high in sugar (like candy). If you want to lose weight, you should analyze your diet and find out where you can make minor adjustments to reduce your overall calorie intake. A general rule of thumb for weight loss is to consume 12 calories per pound. So if you weight 100 pounds, you should consume 1200 calories to lose weight. PM me if you want to know more.

  24. I hit this show up last night since I knew I didn't have the energy to work through the Smith, Picotto set at Arc. Anybody who thinks Timo rocked it last night, or any night for that matter needs some serious help. He dropped a few good tracks, but his set was way too weak and never went anywhere. I have seen him play quite a few times over the years and everytime I get more and more dissapointed at the fact that he never brings any energy to what he delivers. He's a great producer, but sucks live. my 2 cents.
  25. I met for the first time and partied with Victor a few weeks back . . . . what a cool ass mofo. He mentioned that the Vancouver party was the sickest party he has ever played at. It sure looks like it.
