  10. Is this a joke? Or are u for real...please excuse me as I think I might fall under the banner of euro trash blah blah. Is SPIN called spin or What? We are trying to promote Miami for the Dutch public and I have been talking to people about SPIN and it now looks like they will say" I took too much whatever" as the place is off the map as they say.. Is this true....Miami all knowing crew please inform......? Pe@ce from the Large.
  11. They are on the way. Pe@ce from the lowlands of Holland.
  12. This is quite a big debate in in his home country right now.He plays a lot of Techno in his sets in Holland and it quite a shock for people expecting just Trance from the man.It is also a shock to some programers when you book a DJ expecting Trance and his 1st tune is a UMEK remix then a Carola and so on. It never realy seems to matter to the party people as in all my time in the game I never seen such love from a crowd to DJ. There is a huge 100% pure Techno event called Awakenings an they are running a poll if Tijs should play this gig or not the vote is about 60-40 againts. Its funny because it is a very hard gig to get on.... This is a bit like Paul Oakenfold being asked to play the Detroit Techno festival with Derrick May & Carl Craig....unlikely. go to http://www.awakenings.nl for more info and for info Tiesto & the Black Hole recording artists go to http://www.blackholerecordings.com PS. We will have the Black Hole crew with us at Opium showcasing the next generation of Dutch DJ domination.... DJ/Producer COR FIJNERMAN & DJ/Producer MONTANA & many more... Pe@ce
  13. Indeed I will be a nice as pie to Pod and the squad from now on. No more inside info Dade I half promise (lol) I will be as good as Gold (member)..... Pe@ce from the Large one
  14. DJ Tiësto in concert DJ Tiësto will become the first DJ in history to give a solo concert with a full orchestra of vocalists and string players, to be performed at a football stadium. Tiësto, who was recently voted best DJ in the world (in a DJ Magazine poll) will prove his worth on Saturday 10th May with a special solo set from 11pm until 7am. ID&T are the organisation behind this event, and are known for their large and extensive parties such as the ‘Sensation’ (held at the Amsterdam Arena stadium) and ‘Innercity’ (held at the Amsterdam RAI complex) annual dance events. Tiësto aka Tijs Verwest not only won the best DJ award, but also received the Dutch National Pop Prize. Because of this, he has been granted a solo concert as a DJ in a football stadium for the first time in history. His hard work over the last four years was finally rewarded in 2001 when he became a commercial success after releasing his first artist album ‘My Memory’ that provided three Dutch Top 40 chart hits. This performance at the Gelredome stadium will last for 8 hours (the first time that the Gelredome has obtained an all-night license) and this set will be accompanied by the latest sound, laser, video and light techniques available. The stadium can be blacked out at night, and in complete darkness the visual effects should be truly awesome!
  15. It is all cool and the gang. I totaly understand your thing about Carl Cox not coming this year.I had excactly the same thing happen to us last year at the Dance Valley 2002 festival in Holland. This is the one event we have in our small country that normaly gets the pick of the worlds best DJ/producers.Last year we lost both Carl Cox & Tiesto to the Moby tour in the states. As head of programing for the event quite a few people saw it as my fault and I had to lie low for a bit....(realy...some Tiesto fans got truly scary). Tiesto will play a SOLO set in Holland may 10th this year to 35,000 people....this might give you some idea of how big the man is in his own counrty. We are prehaps a little more open in the Dutch scene about these matters of who's playing and who's not and because of our location in Europe we are truly blessed when it comes to hearing top talent in all areas of Dance. (plus we realy do have the best bad boy killer skunk on the planet) As for talking to much on the forum, this might be true for few reasons... I am new to the whole internet thing still & find it very usefull in many areas of both my work and play.I am also truly looking foward to the conference this year & spend a lot of time in contact with our production team in the USA. Healthy honest debate in the scene is always good. As for the cars....I can't drive.......I own a little red scooter with the words"Top Boy" on the panel....LOL (realy) :D
  16. Sorry.....If I upest you and Pod.This was never my intention, but sometimes it happends. Please forgive me. As for the other fellow I am also truly sorry for offending you with my show off attitude, you are so right about the small member thing & the bald head.I am proberly more of a "wish I was " than a 'wanna be' but all the same you are spot on. I am vey small fry. Please forgive me I would like to say sorry and take back all the inside info on Mr Cox, as this was a unwise move, I can now see this could lead to death at the hands of some very upset people. Also am very sorry to all members of this forum and all forums members in forums all around the world. Pe@ce from the Large One. PS Wil I still get beaten up at crowbar?
