i was just in hong kong and people in the music biz over there were telling me the bootleg rate in china is more like 95-97 percent. it's brutal.

garth is a legend. he's part of the wicked crew from san francisco. these guys helped define the west coast house sound.

i had an amazing slice for lunch (pizza rustica, they have two spots in south beach that are classic 4am-just got out of the club-pizza spots and now they are in la!) and then a healthy dinner.

true. you need to appreciate and stick up for your self worth. for many of us it's a tough lesson to learn. there is an art to the timing and to the discussion (always understand your audience, regardless of if its a customer, co-worker, boss, etc). also know your key points and what you will be happy with before you start the discussion.
get what you are worth!

i had a great b-day. i started off by spinning at a restaurant/lounge called nirvana in bev hills. looks like we might get a sunday afternoon thing happening there every week. i'll keep you all updated. then i went over to blowfish sushi for what i thought was going to be a quick one hour set. the promoter wouldn't let me go. he just kept pouring me drinks and asking for me to keep spinning. needless to say i was a wreck when i finally left at 2:30 (by cab of course). then on the 4th my friend brett had a party at his house in marina del rey. i djed up on the roof, the fireworks were awesome!
