Look if your looking for Trance that is a different matter. Techno is far different. And you won't find Vocals in Hard Trance.. My reccomendation if your looking for Hard Trance is to DL Marcel Woods sets. Marco V also spins some nasty Hard sounding Tech Trance. Tall2XLC spins German Trance, whatever that means exactly, but its techy. If you want vocals I would suggest dl'ing Tiesto b/c his sets have a lot of vocal tracks in them. (Though he seems to be going with tech-trance now.) I would also recommend John 00 Fleming, he mixes Tech-Trance with Pys-Trance, and it creates a pretty cool sound. Techno Dj's I would recommend: Chris Liebing Christian Smith Jeff Mills Marco Carola Mauro Picotto (I know what some ppl. might think, let it slide plz.) John Selway Richie Hawtin.

THis is exactly what I am talking about. There are so many ppl. out there who love Tiesto who have been listening to EDM for 7 or 10 years. I know a few of them, and they would blow most ppl. away with their knowledge of all genres. yeah unfortunately that is true. But ya know I have come to grips, I use to fight it tooth and nail but its pointless. I love all forms of Electronic Dance and I have not and will not let someone's rants change how I feel about certain artists or genres...

Someone mentioned something about being a music snob and I thought it was funny. Buzz ppl. RIP on Trance like no other and its really funny. I dunno if you have ever seen the Code threads over there man they get vicious as hell. I was just pointing out the fact that the Buzzboard is full of snobs and some ppl. think this board is a joke. I was not expressing my own opinions. My only beef is with ppl. that pretend like they know so much about EDM and think they have a right to tell other ppl. what they listen to sucks. The rest is a crapshoot. And only one person provided serious constructive criticism of trance. No surprise though...

There are better boards to be a music snob... Like the Buzzboard. Most ppl. (rightly so) think Clubplanet is a joke and no respectable club should even be mentioned on here. Oh well, I respect anyone who can make constructive criticism about Trance, understanding that for other ppl. who may have been in the scene for years and years... love it!

Tiesto NEVER played at Webster Hall ever in his career. Silverbull I remember you. You are that lameass that claims WH is the heaven of clubs and loves his Silver "ice" or whatever. You got played out on some other message-boards. NEXT!

I love ppl. that say Trance sucks as a matter of fact. I know you can disregard any opinion they have in the future. Because, it is a tailtale sign that they don't understand what a subjective opinion is. Though I agree about the Dj poll... While I do like Tiesto that Djmag thing is BULLLLLLSHIT!

G&D seriously has the best music out right now... that Essential Mix and recent Global Dj Broadcast is Fanfuckingtastic... Dude if you whore them I will be there right next to you and with good reason I think! Then j00f gets to rawk it out too... Another fucking awesome Dj who has been droppin amazing sets lately... GW doesn't have a football team. It hasn't had one since the 60's. The students do get treated like shit. That is partly due to the fact that our Student Government is run by a bunch of assholes who like to steal the money we are FORCED to give them. GW does have some good things. Nice dorms for the most part. Some pretty good classes. Good new professors, and of course you can't forget the Marvin Center. But like George Acosta, its OVER-RATED! I stay because transferring takes too much effort... plus I know some cool ppl.

All I can say as a student in the Elliot school is that it is overcrowded and over-rated. Including that jerkoff Dean who is supposed to be the leading American intellectual in Asian politics... he is the intellectual equivalent to Dj Sammy in Trance/Dance.

They are unneccesary at Glow... Besides who wants some stupid bitch from AU anywayz??? JUST MESSIN! No one from AU get offended, its just a lil ribbin' from a GW kid.

Glow does suck a hole. The Managers are loser assholes. They treat patrons like cattle. The soundsystem sucks. The lights suck. There are too many sketchy guys tryin to pick up girls. Too many drunk sororeity chicks. Glow does bring some kickass Dj's but the vibe there is for shit. The only time I found the crowd half decent was at AvB in Feb. Even the Corsten event in April had a shitty vibe. I am def. not a fan of that place. Panorama can go screw a goat.

Gabry sucked IMO Mauro was the man.. Loved his remix of Clocks... I don't care if this track has been played.. I can't get enough of it. I know the wrecks weren't his fault so I don't really care.. The set had amazing flow and I was rawked out. I will give Gabry one thing.. He did play Street Carnival. Past that I was bored and left.

As much as you guys try to rag... The Buzzboard ownz in dissing Tiesto... I am a big fan myself, but I have learned to just ignore the bad comments. Ppl. have their own opinions and they are entitled to them. Frankly, I just don't understand the hatred sometimes. I think it comes out of the fact that ppl. just like to hate on a big name. Often this isn't true because there are PvD fans that just seem to love to hate on Tiesto even though both Dj's play the same tracks for the most part. So whatever fancies you I suppose... But whatever... Some of us are going to have a great time on May 16, listening to the beatz of a great Trance Dj's... Others will be doin' whatever ails them... Either way, it really shouldn't be a big deal. Don't take what ppl. say personally its not like your Tiesto.
