I remember when KTU broadcasted Paul Oakenfold's set last summer from CPI... it sucked... and that is when I officially gave up on Oakenfold. I haven't listened to the radio since last summer. I get sets, albums, and make my own mixes. I really just don't need the radio. So KTU can do whatever the fuck they want for all I care. I still remember the type of ppl. that would call up... thats who they are appealing too, not real headz. I think the best thing that could have happened was that no one responded to this thread as a boycott. That would really tell KTU to fuck off, and maybe even stop calling themselves a dance radio-station, b/c that is an insult to Dance Music.

No vibe at Code, but the music was great. Most of the ppl. there seem like such novices... I posted something in the Code Forum about my night under my other name.

LMAO! thanx for that... Man Temptations is the gayest club ever! (as for any other club in NJ) They promote that shit on KTU... and we ALLLLL know if KTU says its good, then it sucks!

I would like to say... that John 00 Fleming stole the show flatout. If you went for just G&D, all I have to say is.... YOU ARE A FUCKING IDIOT!

ummmm... were you at the same show I was at? G&D played some bombs and that was cool, but in general their set was boring. Dave Dresden needs to buy some vinyl if he wants to be a real Dj. I enjoyed it, and I thought it was cool they were remixing live. But I am sorry that set just didn't do it for me at all. They are obviously better producers, which I sorta figured would be the case. I have read A LOT of reviews and no one said G&D stole the show. But everyone is allowed to have their opinion right? John was superb, the energy, the mixing, the VIBE! I would look around and everyone would be fucking dancing like no other. During G&D's set a lot of peeps were standing around and many of them left. I suppose that a big problem with G&D's set is that they played after John, the energy was lost, maybe if they went on before, I would have had a different perspective.

Boy I guess someone forgot to check the recent Bill's that got passed by Congress in 2002. Ok i just read this whole thread... you guys make some great points. And note that most of DT's fans are a bunch of Poser SF heads who think they know a lot about the music cause they listen to Jonathan Peters an DT. Moral of the story. Ummm did you ever realize thats your opinion and not a statement of Fact? Sorry to inform u but there are just as many ppl. drunk off their ass or something else at a House event as there is at a Trance event. Your generalization based on your own opinion is simply wrong. I would like to point out that I also do like House Music A LOT. I just think that ppl. that diss trance really don't know what they are talking about. No problem, there are good Techno Dj's coming to spin in NYC as of recently. Especially at Arc. You should check it out sometime, its at least something to be experienced.

When I heard Picotto I couldn't hear jackshit other than the music. So its all good.

NYC is big enough that all genre's should have equal play. A lot of ppl. like different things, and it doesn't matter how long you have been in the scene. (I know ppl. who consider trance their fav. genre and have been listening to this stuff since Age of Love came out.) Personally I am a Trance-head but I like to see all genre's, I don't think anyone should dominate. But to all of those who said NYC is a House city would be 100% correct. Silverbull, your a fool, and you like Ricky Corbo...
