  2. Diana Ross's ex-husband killed in South Africa mountain accident 1 hour, 55 minutes ago CAPE TOWN (AFP) - A Norwegian mountaineer, Arne Naess, the former husband of pop diva Diana Ross (news), was killed in a mountain accident in South Africa, police said. Captain Etienne Terblanche said Naess, from Oslo and in his 60s, fell to his death at 12:30 pm (1030 GMT) on a mountain in the wine producing town of Franschoek, about 80 kilometres (50 miles) north of Cape Town. "Mr Naess was a guest on the farm Lomarins in Franschoek. He went climbing at 8:00 am this morning and fell to his death at about 12:30 pm," Terblanche said. "An inquest will be held to determine exactly what happened," he said. A spokesman for the Norwegian embassy in Pretoria confirmed that a person from the country had died in an accident. "A Norwegian person died in an accident in the Western Cape province, but that is all the information we have now," the spokesman said. Naess, a renowned mountaineer, divorced Ross in May 1999 after 13 years of marriage. The couple had two sons.
  3. Roseland has a license for afterhours.Every year the Blackparty is held there in March.starts at 11pm till 4pm Sunday.
  4. My coat was stolen,sucks,however I had a blast.
  5. I was asking the same question.Did you get his latest cd RESONATE? It's ok,serious drum beats, hardly I mean hardly any vocals.
  6. True.well its over and done.Life goes on.
  7. So true and I'll admit that I use drugs, not as much, sometime none at all when at the club.been partying since 1979 and still going strong.
  8. No I'm not.It was just out of control when JP was resident.I really enjoyed JP.Messed up the NYPD and DEA was all over SF,and that kid who was arrested for selling, think hes from SI dropped names. SF not out of the woods yet.
  9. Ignore that person! just another ex-soundfactory from JP days.Somehow they are comparing Junior to Jonathan.I'm sick of this shit already. I had a blast at SF. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
  10. Junior's party was packed to the gills,by the time it ended at 12 am friday morning, the dance floor was still packed.Don't know the numbers,so sorry to dissapoint you,the party was great. AT LEAST SF DOES'NT HAVE ASSHOLES WORKING THE COATCHECK. I'm a fan of JP,but don't blame Richard for the change, blame the fellow club goers for fucking it up,which caused a 22 month investigation by the NYPD for its outrageous drugs activity.
  11. Really? thanks for the info. It will be interesting how the Alegria party will pan out on the 18th of this month at Crobar.
  12. I was'nt feeling him at all.Its me,2003 not a good year and 2004 doe'nt seem promising.Going through some major shit in my life.It has to get better.
  13. Totally disappointed in Victor's playing.oh well next time.
  14. Crobar.I can see JP being resident there.
  15. I've been going to SF since Junior took over, yes its been empty, but its picking up.NYE was jammed packed, party ended at 12 am friday.I've heard they are trying to get another dj to open for him.Junior likes to play around 6 or 7 am.and besides we like to get to the factory around that time anyway.I'll be heading to the factory Sunday morning around 10.
  16. hmmmm....I was hoping she tied a KNOT around her neck and end it all.She a DIVA? please.her latest cd is shit.
  17. Yes they were doing there job,but hoewver there attitude is way off base.Did you ask to speak with a manager.Hope everything works alright for you.
  18. Body of Message: good lord did anyone see the headline news of the daily news: KIDS IN BED STILL OK,SAYS SLEEPING WITH KIDS IS FINE,BUT SEX RAID HAS MADE NEVEERLAND A TURNOFF. He needs fucking help in the worse way. :blown:
  19. Have to admit I'm a big fan of Junior and JP.frankly I don't care how people shows up at Juniors party.I prefer him at a smaller vernue, membership only club.Hes legendary. It seems peeps are going to Junior's after Victor. Most of the straights will be at Exit I gather.
  20. This was taken from Junior's message board.... Subject: My review for yesterday with partial setlist Date: 12/22/2003 1:15:33 PM It was my first trip to the new Sound Factory, and I was very impressed with the club itself. It is clean; there are TONS of bathrooms, and they all work. The staff is nice, though I agree with another poster who noted that the bartenders aren't very friendly. Also: WHAT's UP with no alcohol being served after noon? Mamma likes a beer at the end of the day. Other downsides: Though the club was decorated very, very well (Christmas trees everywhere--not sure how this is Camelot, though!), the lights weren't great--too busy, too much. Also, far more important, that sound system needs some calibrating. Early in the night, it was FAR too loud. Junior kept mixing in the high end of a cymbal-crashing sound, which is cool in theory, but only on a perfect system. In there it just ruined your ears. Now on to the music. Junior was amazing. He worked every record, mostly kept the energy up, and chose the perfect flow of music. If you missed yesterday, kick yourself. Here are some songs played, in no particular order: That's It--Hyperdrive--always great to hear Fly Again (worked and worked, into:) Things Just Ain't the Same, the full Hex mix, triple-worked like Junior used to do at Arena RAY OF LIGHT (fucking unbelievable--congrats Jr.) Deeper Hollywood This Love--Maroon 5 (sounded great hearing it out for the first time) Cry Me a River All Out of Love--Air Supply (this was some horrifying mistake of a remix; it was the worst moment of the night and drained a lot of energy in those eight minutes) Milkshake Me Against the Music--love this mix Save My Soul--new Kristine W, terrific I Got Something Dark Beat It's Love (Trippin')--Andrea Brown Rapture--Iio I Drove All Night--just the beats, no lyrics, which is the best way to hear that song STRANGE WORLD (always nice to hear) Me Myself and Your Child (awesome) Music/Musik Trouble Don't Last Always (Chad's) And, as I was leaving at 12:15 (exhausted from dancing since 4:30 without many breaks), Thieves in the Temple IT was posted below that Junior played until 2:30, which is surprising because I thought the new club was supposed to return to old Sound Factory hours, closing around noon. Disappointing to me that he's continuing the later hours, but I am curious what I missed. I am especially curious if he played Where Love Is, because I was dying to hear it all day yesterday. Thanks Junior!
  21. Some would say yes others no.I say No.everyone has there reasons (personal for some).
  22. as for your second question, you should read this book,"My Life and the PARADISE GARAGE/KEEP ON DANCIN....by Mel Cheren
