I just want to say that Saeed's disc is OFF DA HOOK! It starts off more funky and housey (indeed, the first half of the CD is dedicated to Club Red) and then gets into some serious tribal, dark madness. Big, big ups... And not a knock against Palash's disc -- I haven't heard it yet.

I'm still confused on part 1 -- is it August (can't go) or September (so there)? Regardless, I'm going to see them at Arc on 8/31!

Reval is playing Gua Rapo, so of course, I will be out of town. Have a blast guys...

Trance Nation! :woot: Yeah, you know I'll be all over that stage, all day, all night. Not sure how long the sets are but I think they're about 1 and 1/2. There's like 10 djs in every area and the whole thing lasts like 16 hours. I only have two definites that I must see at this: 1) Steve Lawler 2) Miss Bunty (performing live with Sander). And I would love to catch Timo Maas, Massive Attack, Stanton Warriors, Gus Gus, Sasha, PvD, Umek, Tom Middleton, Cattaneo, Zabiela, Morillo, Harry Romero and Yousef. *whew* I'VE GOT WORK TO DO!

What are these "rock bands" you speak of? Yeah, I remember telling you you HAD to see Underworld at Ultra. And yeah, that show was tight but not even half as good as the one at 930 Club...

Wha-wha-what??!!! 930 Club ROCKS and has very good sound. Though the sound quality can vary from show to show as most acts bring their own sound with them. As for EDM events, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Uberzone, Adam Freeland and Underworld have all blown the friggin roof of that place. In fact, that Underworld show is hands down the best EDM show I've EVER seen and the 2nd best concert (only to Pink Floyd) I've ever experienced.

Gay night not a problem. Next Friday is though. I'll be in England! WOOT! Creamfields....

But I should add that just b/c Sanctuary is not a "rave", that does not mean it couldn't be shut down under the Rave Act...
