My girl and I are planning on coming down this Sunday for the first time all summer and also have off every other Monday from the 4th on, should be a good time regardless as long as we just dance ballz and have a good time. Yeah, people get older and other things start to become a priority, it has happened to me and a lot of people I know. It doesn't mean I stopped loving the music and don't miss the good peeps I used to hang with.

eddie, you forgot to mention Moe Green as one of your favorites or whatever dj spins at the Casbah sat nights. You are too funny...You heard Lawler twice in NYC and claim you can judge him and say he plays "WEIRD" music. I heard him in NYC the last time he spun and it was nothing but energy and twisted beats, not one of the best sets I've heard of his, but good for the shitty looking crowd that showed up on a snowy evening. Have you ever heard him spin at Space in Miami, if you did and said he sucked then you have your head up your ass.

my question is how did these idiots get the g in the place...I haven't been to Exit in years, but the last time I was there security was pretty much giving guys prostrate exams at the door and girls were being searched just as hard... I am getting old...I remember days of sneaking the little .99 cent bottles of yagereister or another type of liquor into clubs just to save a few bucks at the bar....times surely change...

My boy and his girl did go and had a good time (and they are not promoters)...they said the only floor that was good after 5:30 was the 4th floor and it was pretty crowded up there....people were dancing and not just standing around looking at each other like I have seen a lot more this past year then before....and not one guy tried to hit on his girl which is hard to believe these days....they said there was a lot of respect and people just having the best time they could....yeah, JP isn't there anymore and that sucks, but it is still a nice venue, and what makes the night isn't just the dj and music, it is the people....and the vibe the people make...

unbelievable.....I treked up from philly with my girl and another couple....didn't get there til about 1, but danced hard til we left at about 5:30.....well worth the long drive in the snow...

I think he is a lot of peoples favorite dj including myself... hopefully he'll get a residency at Avalon like he used to have at Twilo before it shut down....

looking very forward to this....Lawler is in philly on Thursday night as well, but I am skipping that to save it up for Avalon Friday. hopefully the weather isn't bad:mad:

I hate getting a physical and a prostate exam just to get into the place...I have never felt so violated in my life getting felt up...there has to be a line, they crossed over the line way to far for me.....ever since they shut down and reopened as Exit 2 or Earth the place went to shit. I am an old head...believe it or not, hearing castles in the sky with the lights and snow...that was f-ing amazing....

yeah....this one guy I saw down at SC, or was it tempts had a pretty big tat on his back that said SF 4 Life.....I sincerely hope he is a man that loves other men....

and to think that people actually got "SF" tattoos....Yes, I have seen a few people with these..... now they could be at the gym showing that "SF" off and giving off the total wrong idea because SF is going to be for "men that love men"

IF you want to dance check out Steve Lawler the night before at Avalon (Dec 5th)....he is Sick as hell and a much better dj then RR in my opinion...

2nd time I posted this.... yeah...if it was 2000 or even 2001 I would be very upset at this....The place isn't what it used to be and the only night to see the true SF old heads like myself are nights like Classics night, but even then it isn't what it used to be.... what I am hoping is to have JP get a residency at a different venue that actually closes at a normal NYC time (6 or 7am) so people like me can actually go then make it to work on Monday fully rested.....I'll be honest, I'm in my late twenties now and I can't go out all weekend like I used and quite honestly don't have the desire to....anybody ever go to Boston and hear him at Avalon...the place is nice as hell, closes 2am and the times I have been there over the past couple of years to hear JP have been some of my favorite nights, because he is only spinning a short set and the energy level is ridiculous....this allows an oldhead to go enjoy him, dance, have a few drinks then go home satisfied. I have faith wherever he goes, he will be able to deliver....I have been done with SF for a while now, but not done with JP...he honestly has touched me at times with his music like no other dj has...lets get him in a new spot, a new classier spot anyway from a crack den and away from what SF has become... It isn't the place that makes the vibe, it is the people....as long as the true JP heads support him he will be fine.....

you fail to realize that the whole country, whole world gets MTV.....there are a lot of people out there that live in the midwest for instance that don't even know what NYC nightlife, or real night life at that is even like....this is going to give nightlife in general a worse image then it already has.... and I saw the previews.....they may have edited stuff out, but what I saw in the previews was pretty bad, especially that "person" smoking something from tin foil sitting in her car outside the club....
