Just to respond to this when KTU is at a club by no means would you really know bout it. We sit in a corner and do a live broadcast...give out some shirts at the end and thats it....what does us being there do to make you all of a sudden not wanna go to that club

nj clubs are good for what they are as long as the dj is good, you have your good firned with you ya know. but i dont expect from nj anymore...it is what it is

I was one of those people dancing to milkshake, because I like the song. People in there go to alot of different clubs and lounges...and many of them do know what is going on when it comes to music and the "scene" thing is alot of people come to taste b/c they just wanna come out, get a drink, get dressed up and chill. Opening nite when joe was there he RIS and everyone in the crowd responded to his mixes, had their hands in the air and yeah he could play harder stuff. Last nite was a little slower than normal, but the weather was cold and it wasnt packed wall to wall like it is most saturdays. THats why i think maybe he played the way he did yesterday but his set was still hot. As for the TKA blasting, yeah it was a little loud i do admit and that is something that im sure can be said for next time. I guess maybe because around 10 is when people start filtering in so they wanna get a vibe going, who knows. i understand it interuppoted the dinner which i would be upset with too.

hahah once it gets warmer i'll try to break em out again, and yeah im downloading and gonna burn it to cd!

Taste ever saturday without question. Crowd was great last nite, lots of gorgeous girls in there and the amount of guys was to my liking Joe Georgio RIS as usual! Glad so many of you from here came out. Dani, us and our milkshake dance Brittany so glad you and Sonia came out! it was great ot see u, glad u had fun and you have to come back!

well honestly i have no pull in that department as far as what the station plays, that is all up to the PD and the A&R type heads. Our ratings right now are better than they have ever been tho so something is going right. the station dedicates the night time to playing house music and dance mixes. i assume that is because most of the people listening at those hours at night ARE the ones who want to hear the harder music....during the day yeah the station plays freestyle, top 40, classics etc. b/c they are catering to the demographic who listens at that time. from 6pm on they play more geared toward a younger demographic. anyhow, if you listen from 9-10 m-f you'll hear a great hour of music mixed with alot of the stuff you hear out at clubs right now...and on teh weekends after 10 also. i mean you cant please everyone all the time, but i think ktu does play some good music to cater to what you are looking for, u just have to find it at the right time. i dont know, im not an expert or the spokes rep for ktu, but i guess maybe lil cee or riddler, or one of the other people who post on here form the station would be able to add more input.
