  1. i actually dont mind the Epic stuff cause honestly, NY doesn't get enough of it. if it's not a big trance DJ spinning, then for the most of the year it's just House music and it's getting a bit boring.
  2. i don't kno man, i was there at 11:00 where they had people waiting in the normally hip hop room till 11:30 before letting people into the main room and once they did, the place pretty much filled up by 12:30 all awaiting for Tiesto to come on. true it wasn't as packed as last time but it was definately filled way before 1:15. i was able to dance a little unlike last time where i got stuck on the second floor for like 3hours cause i saw how packed it was on the main and just didnt bother attempting to go down there. i thought he was actually better on the DVD release party as far as track selection and lighting goes. the songs were a bit more on the Epic side rather than this time which was a little bit harder. overall, i don't think he's been giving NYC much respect anymore in terms of his track selection (just look at the days he's been playing NY), atleast not like those old Exit nights where they packed in 8000 people. and to think during the first Tiesto in concert he wore a "I love NY" T shirt. that seemed like a straight out diss
  3. i think Tiesto was good last night. not spectacular but good. system was great also. in my opinion, i think the DVD release party was better. the crowd was much better too. this time, it seemed to be more of a sausage fest than last. Serge on the other hand is a GREAT dj. i believe he was the opener for Tiesto last time but didnt really pay attention to him. this time i thought he was really good. overall, it was a good night. i'd rate it a 7.5
  4. i haven't really enjoyed armin's last couple of sets at Spirit. He hasn't really been playing much of the old beats he use to like at Roxy or that set he played at crobar instead of Central Park. Now those were great nights. I'm hoping this time is better
  5. yeah i kno the ASOT came out but he's suppose to be releasing another cd soon too. but if he's coming with NUNRG, that will be SICK!
  6. yeah i heard a rumor about him coming again in June. Is this even true or confirmed? i kno he's suppose to be releasing another cd in May or something like that and that could be the promotion party. if so, i just hope it's not at Spirit. starting to hate that place. let's bring it back to Roxy!
  7. yeah i remember carbon. i mean the place was still a major crackhouse but people weren't assholes. and i've seen as much fights with white guys in there as with asians. especially with the juiceheads on the second floor. bottom line, a fight is a fight. don't matter who it was.
  8. I was there too and i thought the crowd was VERY rude. no Offense to anyone but i was getting pushed around PLENTY and most of the people that i got pushed by were white. it was nothing like Exit back in the days. back then, if you bumped into someone or someone bumped into you, they'd usually say sorry or just give you a tap or something to say it's cool. that night, i think maybe 3 people said sorry or excuse me the whoe night.
  9. wow, no votes for Armin ehh? well he's gotta be my favorite dj right now. he hasn't disappointed me yet
  10. i wasn't feeling Howellls that much. he kept going from hard to soft hard to soft. Tenaglia was great tho
  11. my new Favorite is Above and Beyond's "No One on Earth" even tho it's been out for a little while. i couldn't find the name of the song till that night when Armin played it at Crobar. so glad they played it.
  12. i believe Satellite had them for a while now.
