  1. scott project is the man, he was one of the first djs that really captured my attention and pulled me into the scene.

while since then my tastes have changed quiet a bit, i really enjoyed his set. it was very much like the good ol hard as hell trance sound. he def brought a ton of energy to the club and it seemed like everyone was going nuts when he showed up in the booth. it was almost like a flashback, last time i saw him was at limelight, and this def brought back some memories.

  2. loved the party, scumfrog tore that park up, the guy never disappoints.

great vibe, i wish i had taken a blanket or something with me, i showed up in jeans like i was going out.

saw a lot of very, umm, interesting people out, enjoying themselves very much it seemed.

  3. it seems from this thread that for a clubbing msg board a lot of people have no clue how djs actually spin music, and the different technologies that are available for doing so.

he doesn't play it from his imac by hitting play, do some research before you make an idiot out of yourself on a public forum.

  4. that's kinda fucked up though. why not leave the choice up to the person?

you don't see them turning down gay people at straight places telling them they'll hate it.

goes against pretty much everything house music is supposed to be about.

This and every sat. nite at the roxy. Its an all gay sat nite party and i would say they do it more to save the person $30 because i would guess a striaght guy would stay about a total of 5 mins before walking out the door. It's def. not a party to mix the crowds.
  5. im gonna put my 2 cents in and advise anything but a mazda. it's been rated pretty bad in the latest initial quality survey and i can back that shit up. i have a lease (protege sedan 2002) that goes back in november and i can't wait to rid myself of that car. i've had way too many problems with a car that isn't even four years old yet. stay away from mazda!

  6. lol the crowd? what crowd?

i haven't seen an emptier place since the last weekend at tunnel. place is an absolute dump and has a terrible system to boot. i feel bad for angello that it was his first nyc experience in that shithole.

what i feel ever worse about is that i gave them my 30 dollars for cover. never again!

  7. got there at 4ish and jp was on for pretty much the entire time we were there from the begining to about 8.

the crowd was kinda wack though, i don't know about the hardcore jp crowd, whoever said that. mostly everyone in there was WAY under 21, not even old enough for the factory days. funny thing that me at 23 the bouncer was giving me shit about my license, the jersey ones do look sheisty, gave me a fucking life quiz while online asking me all sorts of shit.
