  1. i wouldn't even waste my money on celltech, shit is overpriced sugar. if you want to take dextrose and creatine just buy them separately and mix them into your post workout protein shake. easier and cheaper. check any health food store for dextrose.

  2. yea i wonder what johnny was rockin, he had two apples and two lacie externals hooked up to them. i don't even think he was using vinyl at all yesterday.

i had an awesome time, everything a jp party should be. banging music, hot girls, dancin everywhere, everyone having a good time, cheap ass drinks. had a ton of fun and danced probably more than i have in the past few months, def needed my pots and pans fix.

surf is cool as a venue too, def wanna go back there again, next time bringing some towels and chillin out on the beach.

  3. i had an awesome time, got there prolly around 5:30, found a spot right in front of the door. it was my first time at surf, and i was pleasantly surprised. usually the beachy places tend to have shitty systems and cater more to the rock sound if they have live music. the system was pretty decent for a beach place, liked the layout of the place as well, and the fact that you can buy food if you're there all day.

when we got there it was already pretty crowded, but comfortable. looked like everyone was having a good time. hot girls walking around everywhere, circles popping up here and there, everything you would expect from a jp party. i really liked what he spun, last time i caught him i was pretty disappointed about his track selection, but this time he kept it bumping all day and well into the night. left at around 12:30 when the place started to clear out. def had a good time, good first time at surf, gotta go back there sometime again.

  4. although last night was a good night, again as im sure everyone agrees he def brings the energy to the venue (the mic shit he can cut back on, we get it dude) it def could have been a lot better. here comes the criticism. same or similar tracks, not gonna go much into that, it's about time to start rocking some new shit.

also last night i realized something that really annoys me about how he spins. he doesn't mix in tracks all too often, he would go into an effect, or start looping shit, or bring the music to a stop, let the crowd yell for a bit, and then cut in a brand new track. not a big fan of that. i hate any time the music stops, i think if he mixed more things together without going loop crazy it would make for a much smoother set.

no continuity to his set, it was banger, sleeper, banger, sleeper all night, meh. left at around 5, don't know if he picked it up from then on. the crowd was pretty good, funny at times. there was a circle of what seemed like all highschool kids shuffling up a storm, one kid was shuffling to fucking fast i thought he was gonna take off. hilarious, but everyone was having a good time, so it's all good.

threw down two tracks i absolutely went nuts for, played axwell's together, and the paperfaces remix of comfortably numb, hotness.

  5. good positive attitude chief, thanks for letting us know you're skipping this one. jp's had a lot of parties, don't remember the last time one got shut down, pretty sure this one isn't going to either. and btw whenever he spins outside of the city the crowd isn't as cracked out as it usually is. not that i care if people do drugs, just don't start g'ing out on the floor in front of me.

  6. lol funny you say that, that's the reason i love it.

im getting one of their platform beds and those low nightstands. the only thing they're lacking is comfy couches, they look cool but not really something you can snuggle up on. gonna have to get a couch from somewhere else.

i liked the west elm catalog. but when i saw the furniture in person, it looked way too low to the ground.
