exactly, some stuff that i like i would listen to at home while on the computer or doing work or something, but it doesn't exactly translate well into a clubbing experience. which isn't to say it's not good music, just not something you would go nuts to in a club. even sasha, saw him when he was at crobar a while back, i loved the night, but i wish they just had couches in there so you could just sit and take the music in, not really stuff that gets you going. although he did have some sick sick buildups that night. so it all depends on the situation, some people in here are just quick to jump on shit they don't listen to and label it as trash.
As the matter of fact i think you dont need to be fucked up at all to dance to harder/faster beats. The music, the energy in music itself motivates you to dance and moves you all night long. Add a good party spirit, a good company of friends next to you and you can go on and on dancing all night long without any substances. House, or deep progressive house...hmmm...i would think otherwise, you need to be on something to get yourself going, because as soon as you sit on a couch to rest, you find yourself in a deep sleep.My opinion only. Do not intend to offend anyone or disrespect the style of music some people here like.

omg i have that video, it's freaking sick. the club footage made my jaw drop. i can't wait to make it out to ibiza, hopefully next summer. i dled it at tranceaddict, not sure if it's still up there.
I downloaded this bootleg video on ibiza once off the web. It was a ghetto ass homemade documentary. Had AVB in it, some cracked out spanish chicks,alot of party footage and some good music. I think it was called IBIZAS children. Check it out, its worth it. -
oh yea, are these things at least attempted to be run as drug free, i mean do these guys get tested before the show or something? or is pretty much just a free for all as far as juice is concerned? i mean it's obvious these guys do their fair share.

i was over my friend's house and actually saw this on tv, he had a hotbox, i forget what channel this was on. but from the footage i def would give it to kutler, he just looked fucking massive. when they were doing the lat spreads he looked much bigger to me than ronnie did, coleman did have more definition, but i think the fuller look on cutler looked better. but then again this is just what looked good, im sure they have criteria and shit they have to judge on.
and btw triple h (the wrestler if anyone isn't familiar) was one of the guys doing the interviews, and holy shit, this guy is fucking tall. he was easily a head taller than everyone else, huge ass motherfucker. that is until arnold came out to present ronnie with the trophie, arnold was just as tall, i had no idea he was that huge.

i understand where this topic is going but i honestly don't get why everyone is flipping out over this. so what if some joe schmoe goes to some shitty dump of a bar in jersey and gets five bucks an hour to spin on his laptop. that's as far as it can possibly go. you're acting like one day digweed is gonna come to nyc but because all these laptop djs are so prevalent some 14 year old is gonna take his gig. that ain't gonna happen so relax.
i have 1200s myself but i can see that there's def benefits with using cds as well, im not gonna rip on them just because i don't have them. i think the future eventually will be based on cds, but im not gonna start panic attacks just yet, vinyl has plenty of life ahead of it. and btw, you can't say that final scratch for example isn't a tight ass idea, pvd has been rocking that almost exclusively. so just because a dj is using technology doesn't mean that he's a jerkoff, it's all about how you use it. but i do think that technology should never be a replacement for skill.

i also remember us helping afghanistan fight off the russians by helping out the resistance. one of those guys turned out to be osama bin laden. who knows what happens in iraq when (if?) we leave there. the people you leave in power now might be the terrorists you keep fighting in 20 years.
