  1. What is that thing? Looks like some sort of a MIDI controller. Just curious.
  2. Generally a great party. Infected Mushroom did an excellent job, as expected, from start to finish. Astral had numerous sound problems but kept the crowd on their toes.. Awful choice for opening DJs though.
  3. Good, make sure to say hi. I am playing downstairs right after Trip Theory.
  4. All CPers who are coming up to this should stop by and say hi. I haven't met any of you, except for Bling.
  5. This is going to be my first time playing at X-it, I am psyched.
  6. That is freaking powerful!
  7. In general, very good times. Eric played a very solid set and I... well I had fun.
  8. As Kristopher Schau and his band Cumshots were in the middle of their concert; a young couple entered the stage, stripped and had sex. See photos and video. http://pub.tv2.no/nettavisen/english/article250240.ece
  9. Where did you find information that says that Pioneers have better sound quality? Did someone actually run both of these decks through a noise ratio or at least an oscilograph? I'd love to see that. Until there are hard numbers, it's just an opinion. From my personal experiences, Pioneer 600 mixer, which is considered defacto by most clubs, is probably one of the noisiest on the market. A sub $200 Berhiner DJX 700 produces significantly less noise, you can actually hear the difference by ear. I own both.
  10. I would take DN-S5000's before the Pioneers. Generally, S5000 are way more advanced of a toy than CDJ 800's or even CDJ 1000's. It has a real active platter, plays MP3 and has the alpha-track. On a side note, my DN-S5000's run way cooler than any of the 1000's I've played with.
  11. I'd be down for something like this. I spin mostly Psy Trance.
  12. I plan on entering this years contest. I am a huge fan on fast beats so I mix lots of psytrance and techno. I don't plan on winning as much as I plan on participating.
  13. I personally like CD decks that have slot-in CD load rather than a tray. It might not seem like a big deal at first but I find it quite a huge plus. You can stop, eject, insert and start a CD, e.g. a full swap in around 3 seconds on a slot-in deck.
