  8. I like Recloose's Dust on Peacefrog which is funky as hell and it can fit in alot of different sets. Can Peacefrog do it again? Last year in my opinion I thought Marco Passarani's I House U on Peacefrog was one of the biggest tracks of the conference.
  9. I guess I'll post my a lil somethin on the night. Got there a little after 2, had to check out my boys Jason Wiggill and Sheldon at Blue. I always hear people talk about Sheldon and Vaughan on the board but rarely about Jason. Jason is one of South Florida's best kept secrets. And I'm not saying that to take anything away from Vaughan and Sheldon at all because they both rock it as well and are great hosts and people. Just saying you need to check him out and show alittle love. So anyways, I get to Warehouse and Omar's working the door I'm on the list but somehow the plus 1 wasn't there. Being the Kool Kat that Omar is he took care of us. The place wasn't as packed as I thought it was going to be but that's a good thing more room on the floor. I would think that there would be more heads in attendance just the fact that it was his Birthday and all. But the true DT fans were there and Danny was enjoying himself so it was all good. The strobelight was a minor glitch in the night. Danny tried to make the best of it by asking everyone to just imagine they were in an Acid house Party in a Warehouse in London in 80's till we get the lights straight. But after the strobelight issue was fixed I've got to say the new lights and lasors installed are PHAT. For those that were there at around 11:00am they'll tell you, I guess they saved it for the end The whole Dancefloor was Yellow Purple and a light Blue I would try to describe it but I wouldn't do it the least bit of justice I guess it was almost like Wizard of OZ or some crazy shit. I guess you'll just have to go the Warehouse and see for yourself! Somebody mentioned the girl to guy ratio, which was pretty low but who cares when the music is as good it was. But the girls that were there were true heads that really got the music rocking it on the dancefloor. If you want chicks go to automatic slims or some other trendy club if you can handle top 40 and 80's. Personally I can't but thats just personal taste. The layout of Warehouse reminds me of Vinyl before they painted the place and changed the name. The staff are all super friendly that just let you be yourself. Danny did mix it up a bit playing some soulful house along the crazy shit that makes your jack your body like your having a seizure or something. Where the fuck does he find that shit? Everytime I see him its a complete schooling. And when I say complete I mean complete schooling. Miami is so Lucky to have in my opinion the very BEST in the biz living down here. DJ's should be there everytime DT says class in session taking notes from the master. And not just the show up at 7 deal because "that's when Danny gets good" but go out when no one is opening for him and watch him build a room. And not from the wall or the bar but from the middle of the Dancefloor having fun doing it! Oh yeah before I forget if anyone from Warehouse is reading this TURN THE AC off! The girls were freezing! I asked one of the bouncers why it was so cold and he said to prevent the guys from taking their shirts off which I thought was pretty funny. Thats one thing I thought was pretty funny as cold as it was in there some meatheads still took their shirts off. He also played alot of tracks off of his CD's Tourism, Back to Mine Both GU's, twist this pussy and and Can your pussy do the dog probablly other ones but those are the ones I have. Lots of colorful characters out with my fav being the Australian Miner. I don't think he's Australian or even a miner for that matter but fuck he must be from a different planet or at least in his mind he is. Oh you can't forget the Purse Model, the guy in bad drag that gets up on the speaker and models his purse what a trip, I remember seeing him on the patio of Space back when I used to go to the Old Space. Being DT's birthday Alan T brought out a cake and everyone sung Happy Birthday and had cake. At the end when there was just a few people on the dancefloor DT did not stop. Out of true love for doing what he does he continued to play for a few more hours bringing it down like he was wrapping his set up and then dropping some more sick shit laughing and playing around in the booth the whole time loving every minute of it. I guess thats something that can't be learnt or gained through experience and that is a true love of for the music and the scene. I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time in the Warehouse in the near future. Thank you Danny Tenaglia and the Warehouse.
  10. Great review Phil! I usually don't post reviews or even post period but after reading some reviews I feel its about time I write one or at least attempt. Danny was opening the night, so I decided to get there early too, because it's not that often I get to hear him without someone opening for him. I get there at a little before midnight, and the club was pretty empty it was cool though I didn't come for a crowd I came to get my groove on. When I walked in Danny was dropping some sick acid which right then I knew there would be no fucking around. In my opinion and the packed floors at 1130am D.T. fucking brought it last night, I had a great time not leaving the dancefloor from the moment I got there until I left which was about 1'sh Monday afternoon. The crowd was great the floor was packed and every body was having a great time, especially Danny. It's really special to see someone that has been giggin for so long still have so much fun doing it. Through out the morning D.T. would leave the booth for the dancefloor and dance around with everybody with his flashlight and half of a disco ball. Danny really knows how to hold a floor playing everything from playing everything from soulful house to Techno and even some trancier stuff. I was even dancing to the trance!!! Don't telling anyone though O.K.(Just Kidding!) I guess sometimes people myself included, I'm probably one of the worst offenders (I often get called a music snob) forget the fact that going to a club is to party and listen to good music and not worry about the fact that a mix or 2 wasnt on point or a few of the tracks are in a genre that isn't your thing. HAVE FUN, Dance around like a fool who cares its a party!!! And Sunday night was a party, great crowd, great music and sick vibe. Eric Morillo even made an apperance havin it in the VIP area. Alright I think I have spent too much time on C.P. I'm starting to get pasty (Just Kidding again!) in all I had one of the FUNNIEST nights I've had in a long time. Thank you Danny Tenaglia and Envy. Reza
  11. I think he's gonna play all night with no one opening for him.
  12. Yeah sorry about the space between 5 and 6. I screwed the markers up and didn't realize til I sent the CD's out. Hopefully it didnt screw your groove up. Hopefully the non fade out made up for it. The download is alright though. Reza
