If anyone is interested in coming out to check out something different this new years eve, Club Hell in providence is doing a retro 80s dance party (like their tuesday night) with a Champagne of Beers toast at Midnight. On top of the usual 80s night DJs Brad and Dan, Ill be coming in around 10 to drop an all 80s/90s electro remix set. i believe the cover is $5 like it is on tuesday, or any other night for the matter, and it is an 18+ event. anyone that can come out to show some support will be extremely appreciated...this is a new crowd/scene i will be playing for and id love to see some familiar faces!

i remember seeing that he was playing at crobar on saturday night after ultra last year. i wanted to see him in 2003 and i couldnt find him playing anywhere...i hope to see him again this year.

i dont think that theyre having any more of those parties this ear. i know that last year United DJs of America threw a party with Big Shot Mag. that didnt involve contagious musiq like it had the past 2 or 3 years at level, but im not totally sure, ill see what i can find out.

well...i CHACKED him out (nice spelling eh?) when i saw felix da housecat play last week...appparently erol has done the sickest re-edit of alter ego's rocker that i have ever heard. felix dropped it at avalon last friday and it took over the club. one review even said this track has to be the work of the devil himself...perfect halloween EDM!!!

well, every thursday i go to plastic. it may not be the prettiest club, but the clubgoers go there because they love the music and the vibe is great. its also my favorite crowd to play to, aside from events at therapy. that would be my next favorite club in providence would have to be therapy club hell. unfortunately working all weekend makes it tough to party afterhours. i like places where people dress with real attitude and style. if providence had a good electroclash night that would be perfect...

I had the pleasure of going to my first Subliminal WMC event this past march and to say i was totally blown away would be an understatement.... I wouldnt expect any less this coming march. I was fortunate enough to catch a few Subliminal Pacha Ibiza events this summer on vacation in Spain and every night there was a total blast....Erick takes the party with him wherever he goes. As well being fortunate enough to spend some time with Harry Romero and his lovely wife Jessica Eve upon running into them in town, i must say they are some of the most real people i have met in the professional dance music industry. Nonetheless, ill be there for their event come hell or high water this year!! im not too sure when gold chains, greasy hair, and bad grammar all became classy, but if that classyness is included in the higher cost of drinks as well as the pleasure of listening to new breakthrough sounds of the latest Louie DeGuido CD or the hottest DJ Sammy sounds from 3 years ago, i guess when it comes down to a choice, watching QVC and scratching my balls seems more appealing than a mindnumbing excursion to another wanna-be classy joint like Prov.

ive been there...it looks all right with having a bit more space. the music and crowd suck even more than they did before they renovated it, but its ok because to compensate for that they raised the price on drinks....what a bargain!!!
