Which one is his last name?
I'm talking about Angel of course.

It's that kind of attitude that gets us nowhere. Sure Jersey sucks in a lot of ways but why put down someone who's trying to improve it. Have you been to the Borgata? That place is beautiful! And guess what, it's causing others casinos to get better too. So, if Nikki Beach is going to open up in AC, then that just means more money and tourism coming into our state.
Now granted, I'm not crazy about the Jersey crowd either (and I live in NJ) but, this could bring in some hip out of towners as well. Maybe even open up some new opportunities for people who want to work there.

How do you get a gig like that? I'm interested.

Crobar usually brings in a very trendy, beautiful crowd, but since Boris is spinning i would *think* it would be very similar to SF. The last time I heard Boris was at an Asseteria party last year and the crowd was identical to what u'd find at SF.
Which basically means...

Stay home kid!!

As I was saying, pigs (cops), and liquor just don't mix.
Especially when they are drunk!

Viynl and only Viynl
Hate cds
Dude, if you use vinyl, at least spell it right.
I use both and yes, I love the looping aspect of mixing CD's when I do use them in my sets. Lately, my hands and ears are getting a little more adjusted to using CD-R's thank god but I still prefer, v-i-n-y-l.

The resemblance is frightening. Could it be Jim incarnate? Has Hernan ever played Doors' tunes in his mixes or remixes thereof?
-
The Hard Rock no doubt is very fun.

UUhhh...yeah, yeah, uuhhhghh!
Fart Knocker!

Doesn't Hernan Cattaneo or however you spell his last name look a lot like Jim Morrison-R.I.P.?

I'm no Denny Tsettos fan that's for sure but, I wish I could get a gig at Spirit.

Check your PM I sent you. It concerns the info. I want to send to Pete.
Thanks.

i think the scumfrog is a cool name - def sounds better than something like "Dimitri from Paris"...
I don't care if you think his name is cool. I asked why he named himself that?

How is this event by the way? I know Merritt DJ's so the tunes gotta be good. What's the crowd like? Is it mixed?
Was thinking of going this coming Sunday.

I love "The Watersong" but why the hell does this guy call himself Skumfrog?
-
If you're playing for a lame, drunk crowd, play anything they want. That stupid, drunk bastard will have the biggest smile on his face when you do and you'll be treated like a god when you do.
Otherwise, for a more musically, knowledgeable crowd, put yourself into it and what you like. Educate them by playing from your heart and don't be afraid to whip out the funk whether back from the 70's or funky house music of today.
I remember I once played James Brown's, "The Big Payback" and I never saw white people get down so good.

I recommend Tommy Silva over in Haledon, NJ. His place is called Ground Zero Studios I believe. He's a real good artist and a heck of a nice guy.

At this time our DJ roster is full.
Well, if you ever need one, please hit me up.

If you could ask your friend, that would be great!

Anyone remember or know a place called Latitude's in Fort Lee? It was down the street from Tribecca's. Anyway, the reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to contact the promoter from that place. His name is Pete. Anyone here know him? I'm sorry, I don't know his last name. Any info would be great!
Thanks.

I haven't been there in awhile but just ask any of the natives. The people are pretty friendly there so don't be shy. I went to a few clubs that had a prety good reggae band and a DJ in between. There are plenty of places to go so just drive around and look out for the after-hour parties as well.
