If you live near Haledon, NJ or know where William Paterson University is, I'll be starting my first DJ residency there each Friday night. Are you referring to the DJ Cleveland who used to spin in the basement at Factory? Sheesh, if he can't find work, it's no wonder I can't find a gig either.

August 21, 2005 -- THE unidentified "fan" who "attacked" renowned DJ Junior Vasquez, as we reported earlier this month, has surfaced. And DJ Sin Morera tells PAGE SIX his fellow turntablist was the aggressor in the dispute: "We've worked together in the past and have been very good friends for 15 years. I've always been welcomed into Junior's booth whenever or wherever he played. But on a recent visit I made to Spirit, he started yelling at me to get out of the club and had me escorted out for no apparent reason. Weeks after I saw him on the street and asked him politely why he'd [done that]. He started yelling that I stole from him and had been using him for 15 years. Then he had a bodyguard threaten me. When I drove away, Junior spit on my brand new truck. I think grandpa Vasquez is nervous about any competition from the new crop of young artists."

ok, i retracted my last statement because i did not want to get into petty arguments, especially with you, but here we go.......
1 - I mean DJ's that come from NYC, not dj's play in NYC. NYC is a big CLUBBING city, but just is lacking in putting out new good music.
2 - Danny Tenaglia is a superstar DJ without a doubt.....but it is a stretch to say he is the #1 us DJ......He is essentialy a B&T dj now

a friend of mine who is 34 needs a place to bring a friend of his tonight who is around the same age and into trance. they dont wanna be surrounded by 20 yr olds and feel like the old ppl in the club, so avalon, spirit, and crobar are probably out of the question. but wuts going on at those places tonite anyway? are there any other places with quality trance that might cater to an older crowd?
If your friend is 34 yrs. old and is into Trance. Guess what? You're going to be surrounded by at 20 yr. olds or even younger. Buy a Trance CD and just throw a party who are also into it. Otherwise I suggest you just will have to settle for House Music which is the shite anyway. You'll especially find that over in the UK.

Was there w/my wifey. I had a black tee on with Led Zep on the front of it. I definitely had a good time dancin & prancin all over the lawn. My feet were dirty though being that I wore flip flops but it's all good.
