  5. yeah... OK imagine that? his hand would be on ebay by now! lol
  6. and no matter what - as long as you like it, they did their job well... that's the point at the end of the day, right? spread the love of electronic music
  7. thats cool... is it on dvd or is it a mixed media cd? don't get me wrong, i love music and good tracks are timeless to me, but... when you ask people to spend their money, it's tough to get the same person to continue to shell out cash for the same song... besides, there is sooooooo many CDs out there to buy, and sooooo many of them are great... you just need to look through the bins and not on the end caps of todays most marketed albums
  8. never been to SG, how is it? what's the vibe like?
  9. thats a good point as well... the people licensing these songs have over sold themselves i think... almost every song on this compilation is available on other compilations previously released within the past few months... and the funny thing is, it's not available on scattered compilations but most of these songs can be found together on CDs like MOS 2005, etc... also, damn - aren't these songs considered "ate up" by now? people have been spinning these tracks since last summer? granted, good music lasts while, but how many times can you purchase the same song? maybe if the compilation was released sooner or if it contained bonus content like a dvd, artwork, and upcoming releases or something - it may have been worth it.

  11. good point about the reality shows... i had a similar conversation with a friend who is a girl... the conversation went like this... while watching "the club" she is hating on how the people behave: "those girls are so trashy. ew. look at those people acting all stupid." then, she watches some other reality show about one dude hooking up with 12 girls or one girl dating several guys and she is all up in it: "wow. he's cute! i can't believe he is going to keep her." ok, that is strange... it all depends on the presentation of the material i guess... someone could watch one thing and totally be cranky while watching something that is equally or greater in offense but becuase of the presentation of the material it is easier to accept? not so much a censorship issue as it is an issue of social acdceptance and standards... just a thought
  12. recently picked up sander kleinberg and in house we trust v4... little old, but nonetheless some pretty good beats... not big on cemmercial beats, but i have to admit - some of those songs have some really good production...

  14. yeah... i read somewhere that they are bugging out about the fines they recieved last year on some affiliate stations... btw simpsons fuckin rule
  15. ok... if anyone has heard about this, please tell me i am not the only person that thiks we are just getting a tad bit silly... an episode of family guy ran 5 years ago and one of the scenes showed a cartoon characters ass... they reran the episode and Fox blurred the cartoon ass...lol ok, first... it' a cartoon... which is not even sexy or nasty just plain humorous... second, we all have an ass, so don't we know what one looks like? third, who are we trying to protect by creating a blurry spot on our tv screens? anyways, in my opinion - cenorship is lame and should be burned with the conservative freaks who have cursed us with the constant fear of "worrying about what others think" bah! cenorship is so lame...
