Is it just me or does it seem kinda messed up to post on a thread for a club/dj you like...."Hey, I really like your work but I'm going up the street for a different party". I'm sure you mean well letting people know about this other party. Just think it would be better starting an entirely different thread. Carlos and Tee are good people. -bye bye

Apparently this David guy wasn't getting in ass for the last few years at the Coastline and decided to get back at all the women who dissed him!

Funny, you just stated what I've been thinking for a long time. There are many drugged out people I used to see at SF, Exit, Palladium, Tunnel etc. etc. etc..... just having fun dancing all night. Granted you have the occasional OD'er. However... how many fights, puking, getting drunk smashing windows of cars, etc. etc. etc. have I seen from people with too many drinks? Like u said... yeah drinking is legal and drugs aren't, but it's just a funny thought. Things that make you go hmmm.....

Okay... I hate to say it, but that was my final visit to this place. After getting there about 5am or so, I still had a good time buttttt.... I don't know who was mixing, and he had some good jammies, but I heard enough off mixing to start wondering what was going on. In my opinion, if you're able to get a gig in a place as big as Exit, you need to have pinpoint mixes all night (maybe a couple of f*ckups but that's it). Not to talk too bad though, he did have me moving especially after 7am(left around 10am). By the way... who was that DJaying (it wasn't JP) ...and now.... not to sound racist (I got love for everyone), but now I know what people are talking about when they talk about some of the Asians... and that's all I'm going to say about that. ...and, there was body odor in that place all night on the dance floor. I had to keep smelling my shirt to make sure it wasn't me! 2nd floor was closed (guess there wasn't enough people there). Watch out Crobar and Avalon... here I come! PS... and what was up with the Macho Men revue on stage after 5am???? Almost killed my vibe!!

Someone was telling me that it's ladies night at Black... male revue, blah blah blah. Can anyone confirm this? Just signed on to get an answer . If it's already in a previous thread, please forgive me!

Maybe I'm clued out but it it seems so hard to get info on upcoming parties or gigs from his site

For some reason, that term "Factory shuffle" just makes me lose it. It seems like everyone there... and now at Exit does it (girls & guys). I have never quite picked it up. Do they have a "how to" video out yet for the Factory shuffle. One of these days I would like to bust it out on the dancer floor!

A little hint for next time. Discover a friend who's a clubplanet member with more than 50 posts. That why it legitimately seems like two strangers having a conversation. Not two people who just signed up to push a party (whether u be a promoter or not)

People see "newbie" and think that you're a newbie to the scene...no... it's just that some people have better things to do with their life than stay on a messageboard all day. Actually, I have a female "friend/customer" who was supposed to come to NYC this weekend to party at Classics night at Black with me. Then she told me... "BBN " when I told my friends that I was going to sleep from 10pm - 1am so I could go with you to this club at 3am, they all looked at me like I was crazy! Please call me when you can take off work and go at a normal time like 11pm" Maybe this is why I keep hooking up with psycho strippers & club girls. The normal girls can't handle my lifestyle!

Okay... an honest review... a)$60 to get in at about 4am in the morning... crazy! If I didn't already make the trip from Jersey, there's no way I would've gone in! (hooking up my fans my ass!) b)Line wasn't huge but of course they had to make you wait forever anyway (just to make themselves look good) c)Place was packed.... heard a couple of good sets, but from around 7 - 8/8:30 when I left.... uninspiring. A little off with the beats too last night... not to beat the man up because he's great when he wants to be....butttt..... d)It was wayyyyy too hot! Sweaty muscleheads with their shirts off is my biggest beef at JP's parties. Hey.... I got size too, but I try to keep my sweat to myself. At least wear a tank top guys! e) Some hot hoes walking around but yes... way too many people getting whacked (and the heat probably didn't help). Unfortunately, I think I've been to my last JP party for awhile. Figured I'll try to start partying with "normal" aka non-od'ing party people. Lattteerrrrr!
