January 23, 2004 -- JUNIOR Vasquez's triumphant homecoming at the Sound Factory was short-lived. The deejay, one of the best known in the world, has been dumped after a mere eight weeks back in his old booth. "It was not completely his fault - they should have given him some time" to build a new audience, said our source. Vasquez played the after-hours shift and hard-core fans who followed him in the early '90s are just not up (read: too old) for staying out all night. "There's no question he screwed up by making his parties later and later until no one wanted to go out anymore," we're told. http://www.nypost.com/gossip/45014.htm
