    well although in essence I agree, clubs dont survive on music, clubs survive on The Bottom Line, there are so many clubs and so many promoters that the competiton is ruthless, regardless of the comment I made is true clubs look for DJ that can actually pull their own with not just by spinning, but by promoting, because there is a lot of talent in South Florida and when a DJ has the pull or the luck to have a promoter to back him up he is gonna have the commodity to spin every week!!!!

    maybe you can buy some cds at your local store and call yourself a dj, and .. well, since you are already a promotor, you would have weekly gigs with no problem !

    maybe that way, you can better maintain your coke addiction!

    im so glad and so proud to have people like you in our scene .. the scene that is in such a good shape right now: not because of djs that play "world hold on" every week or because of djs that play for "free" but because of individuals like you ...

    i have gone thru this .. twice ..

    you may need to go to the dmv office and get a "clearance" .. i believe is called a "d6"

    once you get this clearance, your tickets or suspensions will be taken off your record (this usually needs to be done when they are infractions that have been on your record for more than a few months)

    if checking ur license on the website says that is valid but you still have doubts, do what Dan says .. gather all your receipts and go to the dmv office and ask them to check your record status there ...

    .. and get there early !

    good .. but

    there wont actually be 150 "individual" HD channels .. almost all of the nfl games ? .. how many channels is that alone ?

    Comcast says it will have some 400 "choices" of HD channels by the end of the year .. we shall wait and see

    now that my head is somewhat back in order after a looong Sunday i can comment on the festivities.

    I am so pissed i missed out on Diaga's set, i heard it was outta hand. I actually woke up early just to catch him because i havnt heard him in a while. I was a little pissed when i got to Space at 1 and diaga had already spun, i thought for sure time slots would have been arranged differently. Diaga opening? ??? ??? :-\

    I really was not feeling christian fallero's set at all. It did not fit the main room of Space whatsoever, especially prime time from 1-3. i knew something was up when i walked in to the world is mine playing, followed a bit later by madonna ray of light ??? and some random scattered jams in bettween. didnt work in that room or for that time. my 2cents.

    Granite and phunk were ok. people were dancin. John nice seein you for a sec, i just wasnt feeling the set so much.

    Patiently waiting and at 5AM Alex Orue took the decks over in the main room. His productions have been outta hand, but i have been wanting to hear him play. :o :o :o :o :o 8) 8)

    ALEX FUCKING ROCKED THE MAIN ROOM PROPERLY!!!! He nailed the sound on the head, no cheese, just funk.

    Hard, techy, funky...His remix of rapture, titty dancer and his new track scattered throughout the set. :o :o The main room has huge shoes to fill, but alex had those who remined in the place rockin. Diaga or Alex should have held the prime spots in My opinion. The people that stayed and were lucky enough to hear alex know what i am talking about. Great Set...Keep it up.

    im sure he did an amazing set ... was getting reviews all night via text messaging from Space employees .. (sorry i could not be there early to support friend .. )

    i have seen Diaga play that mainroom (and many others) like a true headliner .. .. he definitely does not need an introduction ..

    even for the finals of the 2003 CJ spin off he did an amazing job

    and for the rest of you kids who are wondering around "omg .. how did u get that gig, who should i call, tell me, tell me ! ..." you know absolutely nothing about your locals..

    whoever follows him Saturday night is gonna have a tough job keeping it up

    go out and support your local talent !

    that little party "wasted" was a great night .. Cue did the opening set and i closed that night ..

    i doubt it'll happen this time because he is scheduled to play the following Sunday in Chicago ...

    .. unless, we do some sort of afterhours ?
