I'm on my way to some Time Out NY food sampling party, she is spinning there,also saw her the first night avalon openned bc she was spinning in the bathroom. anyone have any info on where else she spins??

i am coming down from ny for halloween weekend. have never been to miami for halloween,should i pack a pair of swim trunks???? I am assuming it should be in 75-80 degree range,right???

he stated on dtourism that he is planning a party in miami for halloween night,but he hasnt confirmed a date yet

you will have no problems getting in. this isnt cielo or bed in miami where capacity is like 200 people. what they should od is go 1 hr each back and forth and then go track for track but i bet you dh will go on until 3 then dt until 8 and then they will alternate.

want to know nikki beach capacity as a few of us here in ny are planning a party for wmc. it is never too early! just wanted to know some things on nikki.

sander was on from 4:30ish on wicked beats got there around 130,he dropped some blur and michael jackson,loved that after that i wasnt really diggin his set until 430 or so sander is a class act,that makes him so much more appealing he got off the stage,chilled by the speakers with his friends from holland and his manager for a litle bit. ------- but hey, what was up with some of the crowd? there was like a 60 year old guy who looked like stan lee(creator of spider man)and he had like soms glow in the dark thing in his mouth hey,i guess there were alot of out of towner due to the holiday..

Can anyone let me know what Rokbar is like(are there live dj's there)? Also,if anyone can let me know the capacity at Nikki Beach I would appreciate it. Thanx.

see,that is the problem now. dj's just dont want to spin vinyl. cd's,final scratch,laptops,etc. yes,it is easier,but all the soul is in vinyl. also went to see deep dish at mykonos,ALL CD'S. What a joke! robots i tell you,robots. Vinyl is the way to go.....

digweed only spins cds. no vinyl at all. saw him at cavo paradiso in mykonos last week. the party had no vibe at all. digweeds past his prime. PLAY SOME VINYL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

trust is a good bet for fridays. the club is broken up in 2 sections. one is a seperate entrance hip hop lounge,which is usually packed fridays. but the friday crowd is all asian(if that's your thing). the second section of the club is the lounge,been there a few times,kick ass female dj called cat,but i believe she's on tour or something(thats what they told me last time)so i dont know who's there now

do they have live dj's there/bands/or both? the crowd,are thet von dutch wearing wannabes? thanx.

just know cielo will be PACKED. if you were in miami for the wmc this year,it will prob be like bed was. since made is throwing the party,i think sneakers and jeans will be ok. but neat,not sloppy!! best bet will prob be to wait for howells to come back to nyc,my guess is that he will play a larger spot sooner rather than later b/c he has a big following here.

during the last be yourself party dt said he will do a dt vs carl cox party pt 2(part 1 was in twilo). maybe this will be the jul4 cox party at roxy?? could be as coxy doesnt come to ny that often

i will assume he will throw down a terrace set... hope it ROCKS b/c i am not a big fan of sobe and downtown come holiday time(labor day/indep day/mem day/etc).

i know, its wayyyyyyyy too early since it is 2 months away,but i just wanted to know if anyone knows if he will spin a terrace set,a main floor set, or a terrace set after his main floor set(he is spinning with josh wink). i am either going to be in the area that week or next so any info would be cool(howells on the terrace wmc 2003 was the shit!).

i posted earlier that sander KILLED it last night, which is what i still think, but i also posted that it was not his usual vinyl set. i went there expecting something different, and i enjoyed it. the crobar crowd is a commercial crowd, so if lets say howells spins there you can expect some guido house from him and not his usual set also(which is what howells dropped in the gay pride party at vinyl he did with dt). but all in all sander rocked, i was there from like 3:30 to closing, i was dancing and having a good time. but if you are going to crobar and if you are expecting to hear a set like those from vinyl in the past, well :laugh: :laugh:

sander KILLED it! was there from 3:30 until closing. a very progressive set, i too miss his vinyl days but he did a good job at crobar. i loved it when he dropped depeche mode around 5ish. was expecting some more 80's type of vocal towards the end, but being that it was crobar his set differed than the last 2 times i saw him at vinyl. :eek:

does anyone know the set time for sander @ crobar? i am thinking about getting advanced tix, but i cant get there until around 3am. i am assuming he'll be on 2-6, but i have never been to crobar so i dont know what time they shut down on fridays. thanx!!!!!!!! :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
