  1. I guess Spec's is around 5th and Collins which isn't too far from Nikki Beach which is where we'll be all day on Friday as well. I figured we could stop after when we leave to go get ready for PVD/Sander.
  2. Unfortunately I had to go with Steve Lawler over Armin that night because Lawler's hardly ever here but I do love Armin. Luckily he'll be back in Chicago in May. FYI, supposedly he's going to be at Spec's Music on Collins on Friday, 3/25 from 5-9 promoting his new State of Trance CD coming out. So will Infected Mushroom.
  3. We're hoping to go to Space after Spin to catch a little of Tiesto and then Sanchez maybe around 4 or so. We bought the Space pass which is totally worth the $$ to me so we don't have to worry about the lines which I'm sure will be nuts the whole week there!
  4. We're going to the LMR Record Label Party at Spin. It's $22 on Wanttickets.com. It's hosted by Sander Kleinenberg (his record label) with Nic Fanciulli, Matthew Dekay and Audio Magnetics. I've been dying to see Dekay; his style's progressive house like Sander.
  5. I agree, Vision's a great place to see someone like Armin. It will definitely be worth going! I haven't seen him there but I saw him in Vegas at Ice over Memorial day and he was incredible. He's coming here with Marcus Schulz who's also really good. Where are you from? Email me if you want to meet up with a bunch of us and we'll show you around.
  6. Saturday's at Crobar are progressive house in the main room - Marc & Teri. VIP is more hip/hop old school. I know Marc & Teri so let me know when you're going and I'll have them put you on their guest list. Crobar doesn't really get good talent too often. They had Felix a couple Friday's ago. Sound Bar however, gets some big names. I saw Sasha in June and just saw Paul Van Dyk there a couple Friday's ago. They also have Digweed coming there on the 26th of this month. Vision is another place too that gets big names - they do Spundae every Saturday. They had Tiesto in June and I actually went last night for awile to see Crystal Method. I think DJ Dan's coming there too in the next couple weeks. Very cool place - huge but for some reason I can't get into the crowd there.
  7. When are u going? I was planning on going in Sept. for a long weekend with a couple friends.....we'll show u around......I love NYC - so much fun!!!
  8. So, do you think AVB could maybe be back for Labor Day weekend - either at ICE or HOB, like he was last year? How about JP? I just booked Labor Day this week which will be my 1st Labor day weekend. I'm guessing it won't be quite as crazy as MDW - which I've been like 4 times - but still great. What do you think?

  10. You're right, the 1st CD is definitely better. I just bought his 1st CD too, "76", which is good but still not better than the 1st from "State of Trance". Although nothing compares to him live! I'm so mad I missed JP on Friday; I saw him last year on Mem. Day on Sunday and he was insane!!!
  11. This was my 4th time out for Memorial Day and it gets better and better every time. Saw AVB at Ice on Saturday which was incredible and went to Voodoo for after hours til about 10:00 or so and saw Ivano Bellini. Stayed low-key on Sunday and then Monday went to Nine for dinner, then Ghostbar and ended up at Oba (House of Blues) for afterhours til close. Skribble spun from 3:30 to about 5:30 which was great! Ended up staying til about 8:00 and left Tuesday afternoon - was so worth it! I'm also booking labor day next week.
  12. I totally agree, AVB was unbelievable!!! We got there after 12:30 and stayed until he finished and they closed the club and then went to Voodoo for after hours. My friends who were back home in Chicago got to see him on Sunday and had a great time as well! His new double CD, A State of Trance is so worth getting too!
