Sunday night Morillo - Tao Drai's - Roger Sanchez & Serge Devant Anyone have any idea on set times, particularly for Drai's? What time do you think a headliner like Roger would come on?

Greenie, thanks for the info. Can you also provide some recommendations for Thurs/Fri? I'm coming down with a bach party crew 9/20-23 and had planned on hooking up a table on the Pure Terrace for Fri night, but am maybe thinking we might want to try Jet instead. But I've never been so don't know what the vibe is like and what would be the better choice. Also any suggestions for Thurs night? We're staying at the Palms and were probably going to stick with Moon/Ghost Bar even though it's mostly hip hop. Didn't think we had any house choices that night until afterhours. Only other option is Drai's. But I'd rather go to this so somebody give me some ammo on why Empire is better than Drai's. I'm visiting that weekend, but my bro lives there and I'll need to convince him and his girl (who are Drai's loyalists!!) that this is a better option.

Visiting NYC that weekend. Big fan of progressive house DJs like Hernan Cattaneo, Satoshie Tomie, Nic Fanciulli, Sander K. Does anyone have any suggestions for good clubs to hit that weekend? I don't necessarily need big name DJ's...just need good progressive house. Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks. Crobar it is for Friday night. I still need Saturday night plans. Does anyone have any suggestions for smaller (i.e. 1000-1500 capacity clubs) venues that play good house? I don't need big names, just good music. Preferably on the progressive tip. Also, what's a good time to show up? It's just 2 guys, 2 girls so I'm hoping we won't have line issues. Do you need to have a guest list reference to help get in, or can you just show up? Sorry for being a rookie. NYC is a different scene than West Coast so I need all the help I can get. Thanks!

thanks...i had a feeling i'd probably like crobar better. I'm 33 now so a bit past the massive younger rave type crowds. How's Saturday night at Crobar? DJ Boris spins tribal progressive I hear? I'd rather not do Crobar back to back Fri and Sat. I've only heard of the big clubs, but I imagine there are smaller clubs that play great house music? Any suggestions? I like most house styles with a preference towards progressive.

I'll be in NY from Seattle and would like to get some opinions on the better club/music. Never been to NY before so don't know anything about the venues. Saw PVD/Jerry Bonham in Seattle. IMO Jerry was the better of the 2...sick sick progressive beats (which I favor over trance). Never seen Pete Tong before so not too familiar with his sytle. You guys have any opinions/advice on what the clubs are like and how the scene would differ? PVD is 18+ and I heard Roxy is also a skating rink so I imagine you might get more of a rave crowd. Thanks for your thoughts!

I hear you on Ice. Last 4 times I was there it wasn't exactly the liveliest scene. But the music is more important than the crowd to me and the options are pretty slim until Drais gets going. I will probably skip 7. There's really no point when I consistently have a good time at Drais and know I will end up there anyway. Mix I've been meaning to check out so we'll see if I can work that in at the beginning. As far as 5150 after Drais, I've never been there but that's probably a little too much. By that time, I'll be wanting to get back to my room for that kind of fun instead.

Forgot about Mix. What timeline would you suggest hitting up these places? 8 Mix, 10 Pure, 12 Ice, Seven 3?, Drais 5? That's a long ass night.
