i checked out the site, and it doesn't list oakenfold as a dj or live act. with oakey being at giant village just 2 days after that, i could see him showing, but at $20 i kinda doubt it. plus i'd imagine they'd tell you, considering the draw that would create. ****************************

HOLY SHIT - was this not an incredible night?? to sum it up - he is the motherfucking godfather. and - i'm sorry - if you don't agree, you're just plain wrong. beautiful, dark, melodic progression for 6 hours. the looks on people's faces varied from permasmiles to pure astonishment. unbelievable. as always, the newest, rarest tracks in existence. and he even dropped a few classics (an unheard remix of derrick carter's "where u at"). MINDBLOWING music. great crowd. beautiful venue. loud as hell (the volume went up 10X as soon as diggers came on.) oof. ***********************

it was a great night. a little more bangin' tech stuff all night long than i usually like, but either way the crowd was totally into it. sweet vibe overall. it really says a lot that they announced this night only two weeks beforehand, yet it was perfectly packed. i left at about 6am, and the party was just as big as it was at midnite. i heard he played until almost 11AM. crazy. here are some really nice pics that were posted on dtourism - http://photo.rukes.com/avalon44/avalon44.html. ************************
