  1. Well of course in that situation you'd just stick it out for a lap. But if you're on lap 12 and it goes from monsoon conditions to 80 and sunny and you're scrapping for points, you got nothing to lose. Plus I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure Motogp isn't using rules similar to that of F1 this year (engines must last 2 races) so you got nothing to lose and if you're initial setup is fcuked, you got another shot. Should make for some good racing, regardless. and can't wait till they hit seca 8-)
  2. New White Flag Rule Riders allowed to change machines when the "white flag" is waived. Can't wait to see what this does to the races this season. Biaggi won't have anymore excuses.

    S4

Even though dodge is giving you considerate options, aren't they abit heavy? Even though the audi might be over-priced, I'd go S4.
  4. Yea definitely looks like an edgier Civic SI or even a more aggressive Peugeot 206 coupe. Engine options are going to be killer though, I bet the biggest disp. option'll be 1.6 liters
  5. As if the S7 alone wasn't enough. Leave it Saleen to add that extra "oomph" to the already extreme.
  6. Jesus that thing was already terrifying as a 4 cylinder. 400 BHP in that package? It's going to be challenging bike track times out there. $100,000? I'd rather spend it on the lotus than a viper.
  7. The headlights on that drop top are crossfire-esque. I'd whip it though.
  8. Can anyone tell me about this beast? I saw it on an MTV Dubs III episode when some guy brought Christina Milian for a test drive but it just seemed raw. The test driver said something along the lines of "we've hit 211 MPH in 5th gear, and we haven't tried out the other two yet"
  9. The only competition I see is the Maserati, and possible the new M5?
  10. That car is so sick. I downloaded the Topgear test drive of it, the top comes off and fits in the front trunk space
  11. I'll believe it when I rip it. But if that skyline concept hits the roads, Toyota heads are going to be scampering to release. As kaysersoze said with the Z doing well and the RX-8 only improving from its release year, i wouldn't be suprised to see second comings of the F & TF cars.
  12. I remember watching a dyno vid awhile back of a 1100 HP supra. sick.
  13. Sei Cento 4 life though, gotta take out the driver's seat in order to fit. That's hood.
  14. That's looking real good from Alfa, I got a friend of mine back in Italy who's got a 147 GTA 4 door but is often mistaken for a coupe. Pulls and handles like a dream but in Europe regular gasoline is killing wallets so everyone goes for the Diesel options. This is my italian desired import, but I might get one there for graduation
  15. The "it" car of '05 was the vette, the midlife crisis car was a Lamborghini Diablo, muscle car was shelby gt 500, The extravagent / supercar was the Enzo, luxury was the Phantom, import tuner was acura RSX type S. What bothers me is that the vette beat a Ferrari 430 and new viper, I think the diablo should've been an "it" contender and not a midlife the corvette should've been it. The RSX beat the Evo and WRX STI? I'm upset.
  16. Did anyone happen to watch Autorox on Spike TV this week? Some of their results are idiotic
  17. Christ Spies thought it felt as fast as his superstock bike? the image you have up reminds me alot of one of my favs, the latest installment of the Aprilia RSV Mille (Particularly the tail section). If you can get an underseat exhaust setup it's going to look like a Motogp bike. Congrats
  18. I believe this is going to have a double sided effect. Of course this means the face of motorcycle racing will continue to change as laptimes become shorter and shorter and tire manufacturers are going to have to step up their games to cope with the speeds. This is also going to boost the already increasing rate of motorcycle sales but I have a feeling this new wave of riders aren't going to be as conscientous as they should be. They're going to be buying these "crotch-rockets" for their speed fix but unfortunetally I have a feeling that they're going to begin to learn to respect their bikes the hard way. More and more i think about getting a bike in NYC i hear of accidents and see wakes and funerals, the more i want to stay in my car and keep a bike legitimately track. Then again, that's what they're built for.
  19. I think they're going to ride off of their civic & hybrids success for awhile. Especially with the latest re-modeling of the Acura's I dont think theyll mind losing the S2000 and the prelude. And now not only will they be hot, they'll be rare.
  20. Yea all the technical stuff is correct but its really up to you as to what you feel comfortable with. AWD is a really good feature on specific cars, for example the Subaru WRX STI or the new Volkswagen R32. Then again my father's 85 oldsmobile handles in the snow better than any 4wd / awd car I know (his car is FWD). But once you get a RWD car mid corner and open it up, that's when real driving begins.
