To insure the authenticity of (the) event, (Showcase) has rounded up the original team that brought Teatro afterhours to the masses the first time around, including music director Luca Pretolesi, aka DJ Digital Boy, director of operations Ornella Contu and the same go-go roster. Staying true to the original musical format, Teatro will bring cutting-edge house and electronic music to the wee-est hours currently only dominated by Empire Ballroom, Drai's, Seamless and Krave Yes, its true.. We are coming Just where Teatro Afterhours will reappear on December 28 is a closely guarded secret. However we hear that the new on-Strip venue, currently being renovated, will retain Teatro's signature reds and feature a new top-of-the-line sound system, and is a similar size to the original lounge, holding 350-400 people in an intimate setting. Just how intimate are we talking? "You'll bump shoulders with whoever is there." Shunning the velvet rope shakedown, the new Teatro Afterhours is "extremely focusing on hospitality." The late night soirée will start with just Fridays and Saturdays before adding two more days. This was a treat for me. I was able to watch James work his magic on the 1000 effects box along with his superior scratching skills. Although his last song threw me off when I was playing after him. But it was a cool mellow ending to his set. You guys will enjoy this one.

Even though 2 of the city's strong ElectroHouse and Progressive House DJ's might be out of Town. 2 of the strongest ElectroHouse and Progressive House Dj's are still here Sien Pileggi and Oscar Molina.. Let me know when you will be in Vegas.. I will put you on the list for SEAMLESS. I play Friday morning and Sunday Morning.. Electro House, DIRTY ELECTRO, and Progressive House. Seamless is pretty strong for those that are still standing after 6am.. We go until about 12 or 1.. Just banging the whole morning. Deton8ors event at ICEHOUSE is really good.. Jet is nice mixture of Progressive and ElectroHouse. With Empire its all about timing... it depends on who is playing when you are here. Hope you get to find what you are searching for..

Look guys, I really appreciate you coming to my defense, but I think the post by Mr Freeze might have been taken a bit out of context.. I think!!! I mean I do understand as a DJ trying to make my mark and become well known in the city, I too come across the DJ's that say they are resident here and resident there, and I never see them. But I dont see them because I dont go to those clubs nor do I keep track of them.. Same goes for Teatro I guess.. Mr. Freeze wasnt in there on a regular basis. It was Cameo appearances along with DJ FRANKIE that were few and far between, and Yes I do admit that the conversation that took place between me and DJ FRANKIE was more like "hey.. wheres Luca?" Uhh he is talking with one of the managers, or Yes" he is in the bathroom" or getting some coffee (seeing that we were open longer than any of the bigger clubs like TABU or 54, so we had to give eachother breaks so we wouldnt burn out..Nothing like 7 hour sets to brighten your day.. lol.. But that was about as long as the conversation was.. and this happend maybe 3 or 4 times total over a 6 month period.. So yes, in their eyes, I wasnt a resident..and was only there when Luca was "INDISPOSED". Also I understand the enourmous amount of pride that comes along with being affiliated with a Great Venue. So Mr Freeze is merely defending his pride when it comes to the MGM clubs like Teatro and Tabu and 54.. If I was a sucky DJ, he would have every right to want to defend the reputation and namesake of those clubs... But I am a really good DJ, and have been holding down residencies and some pretty Hot Spots and have been requested by other venues to come and play as a Special Guest DJ because of my talent.. and I actually got my residencies at the other clubs because those managers saw and heard me play at TEATRO for so long. So it would be a good thing to have my name affiliated with being apart of the MGM club (at least thats my opinion lol ) Mr Freeze kinda apologized in his following post in a way.. but and I am happy with that.. Even though he didnt say sorry.. he doesnt have to.. I understand what he means.. Thanks all for an interesting Thread...

Hello Marc how have you been? Good I hope. Well as to your question about me lying about my residency at teatro, my answer is quite simple. I work for DigitalMusic Inc. My checks come from Digital Music Inc. I do not work directly for any club or venue. If you look in the Las Vegas Weekly,you will see me listed as RESIDENT for quite a few clubs. SUCH AS Seamless Afterhours . Resident DJ TAO Night club- Resident DJ Revolution-Resident DJ At not one of these clubs am I on their payroll, I am not an employee. I am an INDEPENDANT contractor. I play, I invoice digital music. The same way you work for Act One.. and not MGM. The names Luca Pretolesi, LEO TEO and Sien Pileggi were synonimous with TEATRO The times of the clubs closing changed each passing week that luca and myself played ,or while he was taking a piss .. as you put it. People knew TEATRO for what it was..Thats why we had such a great closing party.. Which if you hadnt seen it posted on CLUB PLANET.. MY name is on the flyer as well,as RESIDENT DJ... WHICH WAS DONE BY THE MGM marketing employee. If you missed it.. I can repost it for you.. Not sure what your reason is for TRYING TO PUT ME ON BLAST on the forum.. I dont know.. my time machine was in the shop at the time.. so I was not able to jump ahead into the future to the date of Feb 18th... I guess I will have to wait for someone to come back from the future to let me know how it went..so I will know whether or not to check it out....

Holy Shit.. I am glad Detn8or saw what was really there and corrected himself. I have respect for him and his comment kinda threw me. I am just puzzled as to why Mr. Freeze would go to these lengths to put out information like that. Even if it were true..Why would he take it upon himself to pass that information to media? Havent seen you in a long time since we moved to TAO, But I was taken aback a little by your statement. Mostly because I know you support DJ P 100% with his skill and style.. But didnt DJ P Win the PIONEER Sponsorship Contest at STUDIO 54 by Mixing and Scratching DVD's on tne new PIONEER DVJ 1000's CD/DVD player for $100,000?? I was there when he mixed videos.. i saw IT TAKES TWO.. By ROB BASE mixed into another popular commercial track... I have seen him on vinyl and he is great.. but I have also seen him on DVJ's.. and you were on stage with him at the time, so was just wondering where the statement came from.. NOT TRYINGTO GET INTO A PISSING CONTEST WITH YOU or anything.. And I consider him a great DJ no matter what platform...

I am just curious as to what people thought of the performance of Paul OakenFold and Pete Tong @ JETS PREMIERE of their new Thursday Night event? I myself as a DJ will reserve my comments and Judgement. But I can honestly say openly, that Pete Tong was probably the only reason it was worth it to come out and stay as long as I did.
