Chelsea Nightclub Shut Down For Second Time This Year August 26, 2006 A Chelsea nightclub with a record of breaking the rules was shut down once again Friday night. The doors of Club Spirit were padlocked by police. Police say over the past few months there have been three incidents of serving alcohol to minors. Also, police say a person was arrested for buying cocaine and another for using ecstasy. The club was shut down in March for similar violations.
