ok i've survived. sucks to be back at work, i think that's the worst part. i was getting used to full days of ps2 (haven't turned it on in years) and i watched about 100 movies. had a little pain but not that much. barely any swelling at all. got vicodin and ibuprofen, they do just fine. and i can eat again.

that's very interesting.
definitely some pros & cons there, but they're pretty brave to do this.
i think it would help. it really give the clubgoers a sense of anticipation and a unique sense of excitement.

Every sunday 11-5. These guys are not playing the quirky 'raindrop' minimal that makes you wanna bang your head against the wall after 1/2 an hour, but more bouncy beat driven grooves that are definitely worth staying out all night for.

damn that was chaos.
it's hard to see for the untrained eye, but there is a tremendous amount of honor and respect in a hockey fight.
i played ice & roller hockey all through high school and college. it was relatively new down here (in '93, with the establishment of the florida panthers) so our parents just thought fighting was part of the game, they didn't know any better. so we would get into bench-clearing brawls at the end of every game, it was great.
hockey players leave everything on the ice. there's nothing personal, once the game is over, it's over. most of these guys are friends off-ice. i'm glad fighting is still allowed, it definitely has its place in the sport.
in the playoffs, at the end of a series, the teams line up for handshakes. growingup we did the same after every game we played. lot of respect in that, i think.

Tool Tour To Be Rescheduled
Los Angeles, CA – February 21, 2007 – Tool will be rescheduling their upcoming North American tour due to an injury in the band. Over the weekend (Feb. 17), drummer Danny Carey tore a bicep. Danny underwent surgery on Feb. 21 and is recovering well. Rescheduled tour dates will be announced shortly.

saw him the last time he was here, amazing show...it was a beautiful night
you can't beat that ampitheater. roger waters is a helluva substitute for the full band.
i'm gonna be out of town this time around
