While Vibe is known for his being one of Europe’s most versatile DJs, he is famous for spinning at the opening of Lisbon’s legendary nightclub, Plateau, in 1985. By bringing in a selective yet diverse crowd of artists, movie stars and fashionisttas, Vibe propelled Lisbon’s nightlife into worldwide fame. Later in 1988, DJ Vibe commenced on a remarkable seven year residency at Kremlin, also in Lisbon. While his prominence in shaping Lisbon’s nightlife is undisputed, DJ Vibe also launched a popular radio show, the “DJ Vibe Mix Show” on the Portuguese radio station Antenna 3 in 1994. His mix show is still running today, and serves as a testament to DJ Vibe’s success.
