Just got back from Cancun - was there Monday the 24 - Saturday the 29th.... SOooooo much fun!!!! Ok so maybe the djs aren't playing the hottest latest music but still sooooo fun.... just wanted to share with ya where i went... The places I had the most fun were at Basic - cool looking club that looks like it's not even finished from the outside - but totally awesome design - beautiful and right on the lagoon and a mega club called The City (holds 5k people). The City had amazing shows like nothing I've seen before in the States (well maybe at the circus lol). The night I was there they had their "best" hip hop dj in Cancun but quite honestly I thought he was MUCH better at spinning house music.....but nonetheless not bad at all..... In Cancun there is a new club called Bull Dog that I didn't get to go in but they had a jacuzzi there so if you showed up in bathing suit you could just pop right in if you knew the club promoters aweeesome. ladies night was wednesday night.....they are only open a few nights a week, i think wed/fri for right now...... Daddy O's was fun of course ..... although the damn hot body contest was waaaaayyyy too long (like 30 mins- 1 hour). how long can we watch 6 girls dancing in bikinis lol.....Daddy Rock is next door for more rock sounding music.... Ok so now to the subject of promoting - it is so different there too - most of the entertainment people that work for the hotels are also club promoters and sell $35/40 bracelets for an open bar (barra libre) all night long - wish we had this more often in New York!!!! Also, instead of being paid in NY for each person you bring in as a club promoter (and at least hitting the minimum number or else it was all for naught) in Mexico they sell you an express pass to a certain club which costs $5.00, and gives you front of the line status so you can skip everyone on line. When you get to the cashier you pay the balance for barra libre. I thought this was great becuz as a promoter he/she is getting paid on the spot per person and not waiting for money to come in AND the person who bought the express pass has something to lose by not showing up later on ......otherwise they just lost five bucks. and enough people are walking by to sell these passes trust me. im wondering if that would work in NY - although the $5 could probably go up to $10 i'm thinking.....just a thought!

how was this event??? i was supposed to go but my plans changed at the last minute i have been trying to see gabriel and dresden for a while now....hopefully i can see them later in the summer?

omg cooking her colon???? that's insane......how does that even happen??? i guess cuz you are microwaving your skin right.... i wonder how much is too much w the tanning beds. I am just going this week to get a base tan for cancun next week, and then after that im really all about natural sun this summer....... during the winter i am so damn pale and i hate it. maybe then i'll go maybe once or twice a week or something. but I DO NOT like the orange look at all that is nasty. and trust me on long island it shows up in a lot of places.

went to this tanning place called fire and ice here on the island in new hyde park (there is another one in queens i think in bayside maybe) that is pretty good. their bronzer bed is good....although im using the lowest rays cuz im just starting out.... im going to cancun next week and i dont want to burn like a bitch so im starting out with these rays so it's not too bad once i get there!!!

true. omg imagine that i hope no one was hurt when that happened..... i found a hotel deuville resort in northern miami beach like 5 miles from south beach, it could be a good thing i think? its 75/a night awesome and is 3 stars so that's not bad. the shitty thing is that it is far and i would have to get a cab everywhere though, which kind of sux. maybe ill make it to only a few events.... i just need a damn vacation and i cant afford cancun or anything else right now plus i found a flight to miami nonstop for 200 so that's not bad.

So I was going to come down and stay at the Carlton South Beach Hotel but apparently the roof has collapsed.....and being that all the hotels are either sold out or 300+ per night I think I'm gonna hve to wait until next year.... the roof collapsing makes no sense cuz they renovated the hotel back in december 2005. anyone heard anything further on this?

out here on long island there is hollywood tans 19.99/month they were having unlimited tanning but its the stand up tanning only..... ive always been kind of freaked out about that but its cool cuz its an even tan im not sure if they're in the city but u def could check it out

busta should talk - u are right, that man did put his life on the line for busta every day. i saw busta recently at the hot 97 fashion show and he was good.... however i heard that he completely disrespects women - he supposedly threw vodka in some woman's face who wanted an autograph recently? that made me start losing respect personally......
