And I so agree that some of these NYPD cops are poorly trained, or are just plain bad cops. One night during the holidays, I was just mindin my own business crossing the street in the chelsea area after the new yrs ball drop, and some young bitch cop starts screamin at the top of her lungs in my face to get off the street...startled the hell outta me. I thought she was gonna shoot me or somethin. I wish zsa zsa popped in from thin air and smacked some sense into her head!. I mean I am a person, not part of a herd of wild animals!

its just so annoyin that it all seems to boil down to money and politics!

I am sure some people who favor NYC government( whether they share the same financial interests, ethnic makeup, etc) will be quick to jump to side with the cops or NYC government, because if the cops look bad and are found guilty of wrong doing, NYC government will have a lot to lose, if the family of the [victims] should ever file a lawsuit and win!To me, from what the mayor said in his speech, they already look bad! Commissioner Kelly and the Mayor both admitted that the cops took unusual actions. And the mayor did say that he believed Shawn bell and his friends were victims, and that it looks to him that excessive force was used!

YOu forget to mention what percentage of the blacks are low income and/or poor, and also the race of the people who make the complaints about blacks...the racial majority of who runs the govt that may be responsible for putting blacks in an economically difficult situation, the history of slavery in america; also statistics and facts are 2 different things; statistics can also be doctored depending on who makes them. As far as shooting goes, there was at least 1 white officer there(as Bloomberg says) and if he(or one of them) was the one that pulled the trigger 1st, then its possible it could have been racially motivated. Also I believe its possible blacks and latinos, etc can be trained to be racially prejudiced against thier own kind!

I bet the shytty weather, and unusual venue prevented it from being crowded...glad he rocked though :wink:
