nycchic24 Posted July 8 Author Report Share Posted July 8 no worries. my friends and i really only hung out during the day. we left around 5ish.. omg the water was disgusting out there though -- all the seaweed on first beach! and it was so windy that my friend and i went for a walk (for some del's ) and left my other friend sleeping on the blanket. when we got back, half her body was covered in sand! Went into the water even though it was gross, and ran out screaming bloody murder... When I got back I was covered in red shit, and sand...Glad to hear you had a good time anyways! nycchic24 Posted July 8 Author Report Share Posted July 8 good.. pretty much just kept it low key..although on saturday was one of my friend's bday. and she wanted to go to hip-hop club... which we all know is quite non-existent in boston. so after much back and forth.. we ended up at Polly-esthers'! my first time going there and now i have good reason why i neever went.. the people there were an absolute riot.. one guy in 70's porn aviator glasses with plaid pants and mismatching alternate plaid stripe shirt... we were there for about an hour when my friends finally said, "lets go" thank god. so we ended up at fanueil hall. hahaha. my friend knew one of the guys at the door at the exchange and i knew a bartender -- (no cover, free drinks! can't beat that! ) we got sloshed and my friend was even happier cuz they have the hip hop room downstiars. well, at least we didnt end up at "that place" but as TeamJ5 knows... they are all excited about Louie Devito at Avalon next week! The people there are the worst, and it is just dead all of the time, and if it's not dead the people there are people you wouldn't give the time of day too.... Glad to hear you got out of there while you still had a life...I pretty much had a laid back weekend too, came home from Newport on Saturday and went to a friends cookout. It was nice to have such a chill weekend. I have been trying to conserve my $$ for my trip which I am getting very excited about...Oh yeah, Devito is going to be at Avalon this coming weekend, looks like I am going to have to break out the 70's porn star glasses for this one.... Anyway, katie wants us (dC board) to come up for the 19th. D:fuse (which i dont care for) and I think satoshi? anyway, that's quite a hike from DC to boston only to get kicked out of the club at 2. There is a club in Boston that has Steve Porter and Cass from Spundae spinning, that is afterhours it is a great time. Katie and I are members, and we plan on going to that afterhours on the 19th! So your night isn't going to end at 2, so that's reason #1! It's going to end at 7:30 or whenever you want it to...Reason #2 why you should come up here that weeknd, is that we have beautiful beaches and Boston is a great town...
