Yeah that should work, as long as its around the same temp as the fridge (and it should be)... when we make them at my frat we use about 1/4 grain alcohol (everclear) and 3/4 water... gives them a nice bite so u know you're not wasting your time gettin fucked up... doesn't matter when u mix in water & alky, it'll still solidify... ;)

By the way, I was just looking at some old posts on the philly board and saw that u threw a party in allentown a while back?? Shit wish I woulda known, didn't know that anything good ever happened in allentown, and I live 5 minutes away in bethlehem... lemme know next time u throw a party there! :)

ok new question.....we make them in a refrigerator, but will be at the beach all day.....will putting them in a ice filled cooler freeze them or just keep them cold

btw if you put too much alcohol, like 1/2 vodka 1/2 water it will NOT solidify, or it'll get kinda mushy but not solid (nevermind it'll taste fucking disgusting). I wouldn't go too much more than 1/3 or 1/4 vodka and the rest water.

putting it in the ice cooler will not freeze them....its like putting beer cans in the cooler, they won't freeze. cooler stays about fridge temp, not freezer temp.

have fun.

The trick is to put the alcohol in the freezer so it is as cold as it can get. The you follow the directions on the box, substituting the cold alcohol for the cold water. Use the same amount (I think it's 1 cup.) If you follow the Jell-O directions and just use the alcohol instead of the cold water, they should set in normal time in the fridge. Good luck & enjoy!
