bkissa Posted July 19 Report Share Posted July 19 i went to shelter on a saturday and thought it was really good. the music is good, tho i thought the dj was definitely trying to cater to the crowd (SF regulars) and played a lot of sound factory classics. the party also goes really late for a weeknight.and the decor of the club itself has a "vinyl" feel to it. noting flashy. bsb2002 Posted July 19 Report Share Posted July 19 older, extremely diverse crowd (and quite sober). no dress code, very late arriving. soulful house and garage (think blaze, MAW) and lots of classics (paradise garage type stuff). its a wonderful party, but its not your typical club night.
