pluryou
Where is a good place to get cheap tickets from? Also, does anyone know a good price of what it should cost to fly from south Fl to DC?
cookiegirl
I've always found Orbitz to be a good site. Yahoo travel is also nice. (I got a round trip ticket from DCA to Oakland, CA for 180 bucks w/ Yahoo!!)If you can get to BWI (it's fairly easy with MARC or even Metro goes there now, www.wmata.com) -- Southwest is great for flights to Florida. You could probably get a round trip ticket for less than 200 bucks.www.orbitz.comwww.yahoo.comwww.travelocity.comwww.cheaptickets.comwww.southwest.comand so on and so forth. . . pluryou
That is where I am from. Thank you. Reagan will probably be the one she will come in on cause its closer. Plus, I dont drive. Well, I could ask a friend. How far is BWI from DC. Like 45mins?

Like 45mins? yeah. she could take the super shuttle to dc, but that's about $25 bucks one way. apparently, there's a way to take the bus from BWI to the metro, but i have no idea what that is. I don't drive, either, so i usually just pay the extra money to fly to/from Reagan, unless going from BWI is more than $50 cheaper (cost of the shuttle both ways). I've used expedia.com for tickets a lot, too. Oh, there's also a bus from Dulles to the metro, which is closer than BWI. It's called the Washington flier or something like that. I think there's info on it on the Metro site (www.wmata.com).

cookiegirl
^^^ I think there's a couple weeks in January and February that are slightly chilly. It *never* snows here it seems, and if it does the city shuts down.
