marcid21
Ladies? Do you have a preference in age when your dating? Older? Younger? Same Age? And what brought you to this preference?I know we can all stand here and say, if you click with someone, age is but a number...but in reality, we all have our tendencies and preferences.I ask because I've never hooked up with a younger guy, but could've possibly been attracted to one, some time ago. The thing that completely turned me off was the game playing. It was obvious this guy had less experience than I, which is fine, but I just didn't feel the need for such bullshit games....especially so early into it all. So I washed my hands of the situation, and that was that. And now, when I look back to that possiblity with the younger man, and to the possiblities with an older man...I'd def. take the latter. There's normally (( read, normally! )) no games involved, and many of the aspects are quite straight foward. Me personally, that's my preference. tastyt
Honestly, I don't know that it makes much of a difference... most guys are babies no matter what their age...

ou812
I've come to realize that age is just a number, and nothing more. I have friends in their early 20'swho are married, have kids, a stable job and a nice home. At the same time I know people in their late 20's early 30's that, are unemployed, get cracked out every weekend, and still live at home with their parents. I think the only definate is that us young guys have more stamina in the sack, outside of that age really is just a number.
perns2002
Younger men are immature period, there minds are not on the same pace as mine. I have to say. There are an occasional few that are very mature and have there heads on straight, however, I find that when I older girl not old old like 26 dates a younger guy it just doesn't work out, they are tons of fun but that's about it, IMO
shugabooga
my favorite topic.as all of you grow older you'll develop your own preferences for whatever reason. don't worry about what other people do or what anybody thinks about who you date. we're in New York City, people, we should all feel free to date, flirt, fuck or fantasize whatever we want. it's all very personal.but since i'm the oldest of the bunch (and i've been absent for so long) i'll share my thoughts from this age perspective. my preference is younger men because, at my age, all the "good" ones are taken, so in order to find a cute, fun, free-spiritied, open-minded, affectionate guy, i seem to always end up with younger guys. older men seem to be uptight, set in their ways, and they have a lot of baggage and their walls are up. they're always concerned about "making it" and impressing other people and i'm just over that.i think that as you grow older, age will matter less...unless you're the "older" woman dating a much younger man.......then it makes you feel like a goddess! cgm
Age IS just a number. My boyfriend is 2 years younger than I am, and is more EMOTIONALLY mature than many guys I know that are older than me. I think that many guys (including my boyfriend) can act very immature and childish on the surface, but what matters is how you can connect on the emotional level, ie commitment, honesty and trust, openess, and emotinal availabilty. xtotaleclipsex
For me age is a pretty important factor.....Once I find out a guy is younger than me I will pretty much drop any interest.....but I have really liked someone that was a few months younger than me.It all depends on the person......I'm 19 soon to be 20 but my preference is 20+....and under 25.Age does play a part in where you are both at in life....for me to go out w a 17 year old.....he'd be in high school still.....I just wouldnt do that:rolleyes:....for anyone else its fine but I could not stand that...... and for me to date someone over 25....they would be graduated and working and would be in the been there done that kind of stage possibly ready for marraige etc ...and I'm not yet. rachel1997
Well, I like the older guys, preferably 2-5 years older then me. I did have a fling with an younger guy - a little while ago, which was fun for sex but not for a relationship..... very immature, and yuck, very immature... I just wanted to slap him! I'd write a bunch more but there's someone looking over my shoulder at the moment....

I think I qualify for the "age perspective" too and I can only agree with shugabooga here. Once you get older, a lot of the men in your age group and older are already taken and/or have a lot of baggage to carry around with them. Furthermore, a lot of you people claim maturity/immaturity (and btw: some of the comments made by 19 year old girls, which I still consider babies, seem very immature themselves). Maturity doesn't come with an age tag. I live with my boyfriend who is nearly 3 years younger than me and I consider him more mature than some of my colleagues at work that are a few years older. This doens't mean that my boyfriend does not also have the baby-side, which is crazy, free spririted and fun loving ...but as cgm put it so nicely it's all about EMOTIONAL maturity and how you connect on that level, ie commitment, honesty and trust, openess, and emotinal availabilty.
