joeg Posted September 15 Report Share Posted September 15 On one of the movie channels, i was watching "Series 7: The Contenders"....Its a show where 5 people are picked to kill one another until 1 person is left... they have camera men follow each person around as they kill or be killed...i caught it from almost the beginning... and as i'm watching this... all I can say is "what the fuck am i watching?? and why can't I turn it off?"I'm pretty sure this movie proves reality tv will never go away... lol... As far as The Contenders is concerned, it was made as a social commentary parody of the Reality Show Craze when it first started (I think it was right around the first Survivor and Big Brother) . .
