zeeker
People have been saying for awhile now that the only challenge left for Roy Jones are Heavyweights. Well, it looks like we're all gonna find out in December. According to this report, the fight is just about a done deal. Roy Jones will fight WBA champ John Ruiz with the winner probably meeting the winner of a fight between Evander Holyfield and Chris Byrd. http://boxingtalk.net/pages/leon97.htm

zeeker
well, as far as heavyweights go, these are some of the smaller guys. I think it says in that article that Ruiz will outweight him by about 30 pounds, which is a lot. But it's not like he's giving up 70 pounds to a guy like Lewis. lolahotass
2 words - CHRIS BYRD...That's my boy... He's from my hometown of FLINT, MICHIGAN!!!!Friggin' Lennox Lewis won't even fight him. He turned down the fight and like retired or something......Lewis is weak!I hope Chris knocks out Holyfield WOO HOO GO CHRIS!!!!Oh yeah, and Jones JR too;)Lola
zeeker
Chris Byrd is easily the most ducked fighter in the HW division. Lennox didn't want any, Holyfield didn't either, until he got too much money to refuse. Byrd is actually a good fighter, not just a goon like a lot of the other heavyweights. Roy Jones is a punk though.
