Took Friday off, I've got a bunch of vacation time to blow I'm ready for Thursday, ready for Friday, not ready for Saturday. My weekend will go: Low End Specialists, Zabiela, Gerrard, Howells, some awful wedding DJ. Who's ready to do the funky chicken?!?How about you Jess??To keep the discussion going... Keri, me and a few others went to Vertigo (randomly) last night to check out some Electro at Chasm (name of the night). First DJ (I think it was Benny Blanco) was NASTY. Had me dancing right off the bat... was mixing up some GOOD electro beats with fun, funky songs. Even played a track off the end of Zabiela's Kiss 100 set, I was in heaven... then the next guy came on who was ok, not great... then some geek came on and just played AWFUL 80s remixes. The night went from 0 to 60 to -40. Still fun though for a random Tuesday night. The gin and tonics were POWERFUL... and I'm still feeling them How was your (and everyone else's) night? I'm here today tomorrow and everyday till the end of forever I need a road trip - can't wait for Nov - we have a group of like 8 of us so far going up to Montreal I went out last night to the Brass Monkey -used to be Charley Peppers, but they just changed over names and re-opened last Tuesday and this was my first night back. It totally sucked!! The early part of the night was ok - music was good and then BAM! the dj breaks into a couple of hip hop tunes and then BAM! back to house, but he decides to make the move to top 40 house. That along with the fact that they redecorated the place like the jungle room at Graceland, the place was not even close to packed (which it usually is on Tuesdays) and they changed my chill-out patio bar into a flashback to the 80's (music and all). My night consisted of sitting at work unitl 6, then going home and going to the gym to study. Yeah, that's right going to the gym to study... I still can't work out harder then walking on the tread mill so I went there to do that and read, fun stuff I tell you!As far as my weekend goes, I am going to Howells on Friday night, then partying until the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, or shall I say until the late morning on Saturday...
