kaydup Posted October 21 Report Share Posted October 21 So I heard that about 1:40 or so, he took one record off left one on, played a bit of it, then stoped it and fliped it over, and then just picked it up and put it in his crate. Then proceded to put his scarf on and said "ok, I am outta here" and just took off down the stairs and left the club:laugh: That is too funny. How was his actual set?? How was everyones weekend? Friday night I was planning on going to Pravda to check out Todd and out of 6 of us, 3 were wearing jeans, so that was out. My friends brought me to this cheezy club called the big easy. It was pretty funny- before we went out, I asked one of my girls that had been there a couple of times what kind of music they played. She says - they have a dj that switches off with a band. So I was already a little skeptical at this point. Ok - does the dj play house music at least???? Yeah - he plays house. So I breath a little sigh of relief. Um humm......house music.......I heard Madonna, pink, Kylie, that guy that sounds like a girl (Gotta get through this), Bon Jovi, Fat Joe, Fabolous, Def Leppard's pour some sugar on me & I even heard bel biv devoe's House Classic Do Me - just to name a few. AND they were all the good old Kiss 108 originals. It was gross. The band was actually pretty good. Cheezy college tunes of course - Alot of blink, and they even threw out blister in the sun, but they sounded good so it wasn't horrible.Saturday night I went to the Brewery in Lowell which had a good crowd, but the music left alot to be desired. Alot of hip-hop and they even had a re-mix of Enrique's Hero - I'm sorry, but there was just no need to remix that song. I thought I was going to have to drop her right there and the guy just pushed her right out of his way and pulled me back over - I laughed and stuck my tongue out at her. (it was her bday i think) we all wanted to so we got her trashed (pretty quickly) and came up iwth a plan --one of my other friends knew one of the bouncers there and staged this scene where she strated a fight with some girl. *shakingmyhead, icantbelievewedidthis* and had her friend, the bouncer kick her out of the club. the scam worked and half of us ended up followoing our exiled frined out of the club.. cuz we didnt want her to be alone and by this time the girl who's idea it was.. was so plastered she dindt mind leaving big easy either.. lol we ended up at Envy (maybe a step or two better... ) but one of my good friends used to be the doorman there and we knew alot of the bartenders so free cover and drinks always makes it better.. The music wasn't that bad, he played some decent stuff. Much better than usual Friday nights but still not my favorite. Axe had people walking around the club spraying people with that awful deodorant spray. One of them came up to me asked if I wanted to be sprayed, I told him I'd knock him out if that shit touched me. And the Axe girls, they were completely naked except for a tiny g-string and had full body paint, it was sort of cool looking. And as far as the end of the night goes he slowed it down and we figured the encore was coming, and he then put a new record on for about 10 secs then it just stopped completely.
