MORE INFO ON DEEP DISH :

After spending the last few months touring some of the world’s most prominent night-clubs, DEEP DISH return to New York City on Friday, November 15. DEEP DISH will play at Exit (610 W. 56th St.)

DEEP DISH --who is Ali “Dubfire” Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi—the duo have just completed a remix for Justin Timberlake’s new single, “Like I Love You” and are now in the planning stages for two major releases for 2003. The pair ranked #2 in the “Best Dance/DJ Artist” category by the critics of Rolling Stone for their music awards of 2001, ranked in the TOP 20 in DJ Magazine’s World’s Top 100 DJ’s reader’s poll for 2002. 2001 also earned Deep Dish the coveted Grammy Award for ‘Best Remixed Recording’ for Dido’s “Thank You” which continues to rank after 30+ weeks on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music Maxi-Singles Sales chart.

DEEP DISH sprang into the spotlight in 1998 with their seminal full-length release Junk Science, transcending genres with the dance floor smash “The Future Of The Future (Stay Gold),” featuring the vocals of Everything But The Girl’s Tracey Thorn. Other DEEP DISH releases include Yoshiesque 2 (2001), Renaissance Ibiza (2000), and Yoshiesque (1999). The current Deep Dish’s Global Underground ‘Moscow’ is one of the best selling compilations to ever come out on the infamous series. Not to mention this year’s global floor filler Deep Dish’s Edit of NARCOTIC Thrust’s “SAFE FROM HARM”.

Well Limelight aka ESCAPE, I mean, REPUBLIC, I mean EMPIRE, damn it that's not it, ok ok THE ESTATE!

I wasn't given details other than they will be at "LIMELIGHT" on New Years Eve.

I know they are not scheduled for ARC on Dec. 15th.

Though it would have been nice. All I am saying is that I love DD and that's the only reason why I even posted the info. I don't care where they play. Especially when I get to hear Behrouz in the process. Which if you haven't gotten a peek at this DJ damn u missing out. It's nice to have a change of scenary for a bit. And Deep Dish definitely can convince me to make that change for a night. I want to see if real House music goes over on that main floor.

I doubt it will go over too well. I was just at Exit last night and tried to engage a few people in a conversation about Deep Dish coming to Exit, and none of them had a clue who they were. We'll see though, hopefully they bring in a decent amount of their own fans...

cottoncandy, if i choose not to go to a place, it's for a very specific reason. I dont think you can fault me for choosing not to go to exit... not a lot of people will stick up for their record of behavior ;)

don't take it personally. It's just my own choice. Arc is my spot.
