SOOOOOOOOOO THE NIGHT BEGINS.............I PICK UP NIPPLES AT 9:30ISH..............HEAD DOWNTOWN TO MEET THE CREW AT SIDE BAR.............GUYMAN66, MRS. GUYMAN, AND THEIR FRIENDS, MY GIRLIE SXXXXXX;) & FRIENDS; SALEEN, HOGSTER, DUI, RYAN, AND ALL THEIR LIL' GIRLFRIENDS........(NO COMMENT:laugh: :rolleyes: ).......

SO, WE HIT UP SIDE BAR...........................<NO COMMENT> GM66, EXCEPT FOR "U R DA MAN"........SOME DRUNK FOCKER STARTED SHIT W/ MRS GUYMAN.........LOLA ALMOST HAD TO FUCK SOMEONE UP!!!!!!! BUT THANKFULLY, GM66 IS DOWN WITH THE FOLKS AT SIDEBAR, AND WE HAD THE PROBLEM DRUNK ASSHOLE THROWN OUT (U GO GM66!!!!!)................ SO WE DRINK UP - THEN HEAD TO STAR BAR.

WE WALK OUT OF SIDE BAR, AND SALEEN RUNS INTO THE OWNER OF STAR BAR. NICE FUKKEN DUDE - I THINK HIS NAME WAS KEITH. ANYWAY, (IN TOTAL SALEEN STYLE) WE WALK RIGHT IN THE CLUB.................(THANKS BY THE WAY)................................

STAR BAR IS CUTE........................HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL.........I'M NOT INTO HIP HOP - HONESTLY, SOME OF THE SONGS MADE ME THINK OF 8TH GRADE DANCES N' SHIT, BUT OVERALL, MS. HOTASS HAD A GOOD TIME. I KNOW NIPPLES DID (NO COMMENT:laugh: )..................THE DJ THREW DOWN SOME CUTE HOUSE MUSIC............AND OF COURSE, THE BEST SONG IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD - DARK BEAT BY MR. OSCAR G AND COMPANY................. BUT OVERALL, I REALLY HAD A GREAT TIME HANGIN' WITH MY CREW.....................DA JEW - SHOWS UP OUTTA NOWHERE............GOTTA LOVE IT....HOT MOFO! I CAN'T BELEIVE I'LL ADMIT THIS, BUT BELINNI WOULD BE PERFECT FOR THE LAUDY CROWD.............I HOPE THEY BRING HIM IN; CUZ THE CURRENT DJ DOESN'T DO IT FOR ME (SORRY, JUST BEING HONEST)....................

I DID LEAVE AROUND 3ISH TO HIT UP HEX HECTOR AT COLISEUM...... I BLEW THAT OFF CUZ MY ROOMY CALLED ME AND ALL MY OLD STOMPIN' CREW WAS @ DA COPA, SO I HIT THAT PLACE ON THE WAY HOME.........................................I TOLD MY BARTENDER/GOOD BUDDY THAT I NEEDED SOME DARK BEAT; SO HE WALKS UP TO THE BOOTH, AND THANKFULLY, BILLY DROPPED IT FOR ME. I WENT FUKKEN NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD SEEIN' ALL MY OLD BUDDIES.......

ANYWAY, LAUDY ROCKS................:D :D I AM SO HAPPY THERE IS NIGHTLIFE LOCATED 10 MINS. FROM MY HOUSE................. NOW IF THEY BRING IN ROLAND OR OSCAR G - IT'S OVA!!!!!!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR MAZE - DECEMBER 28TH - RAUHOFER U ROCK!

FTL can sure be a barrel of laughs, in more ways than one. Glad you had a great time.

I have a question about this incident with the PROBLEM DRUNK ASSHOLE. I was at Side Bar briefly last night, waiting on some friends. Up on the second floor, i witnessed an altercation between some dude and a group of other people. Caused a bit of a disturbance. Could this be the same spat? Just wondering.

Didn't go to Star Bar, but i stopped by in passing to check on an acquaintance who works there. The place didn't look all that blazing. I chalked it up to the chilly temp. To my chagrin, i also noted they were playing your hiphop/r&b/reggae hash.....that place is NOT the sort of venue you want to be spinning that stuff. Some sexy house would be ideal.

And did anyone who was in FTL this week get a chance to drop in on the new "Matrix," formally known as "Sutra".....It was strange because the place was open, but wasn't really ready for business. They weren't taking cover, and not many people were on hand. Looks like they are renovating the entire joint, and i saw what looked like a dress rehersal of a laser light show in their main chamber. Anyone know where this place is going with all this?

sutra was bought out by i think 3 or 2 guys. I can't remember, but word is they really don't care about making or loosing money, they are just having fun with this. But i hate the renovations, and I told one of my guys over there it looks terrible.. Its only 60% done, so i gave them a mulligan until they open. Should be done by mid decemember. What i'm hearing about what they are trying to do will not go over well in my opinion. Not sure about the music. I don't think they have figured it out... They have new residents, but nothing special. The blue paint is aweful!!!!!!:blown:

Matrix(Sutra) looks like shit

Glossy blue paint everywhere is just wrong. The place is way to bright just horrible.

That was us with guyman @ side bar. Some punck fucking fags me out and then goes to fight mr. guyman:confused: :confused: Beside that guy @ side bar has got to be on of the best pre game spots around. The talent(hot ass girls) in that place is off the hizzee fo shizzy.:D I like star bar alot but the hip hop makes me sick:blown: They will be playing some tight tunes for 30 min. and then hip hop for 30min. The bar staff there is the best.(looking and service). Big thanks to Keith for the hook up and shots.

Jesus! So I actually saw some of you CPers and didn't even know it. Small frickin world.

Hog: Must have had my blinders on, because i didn't see THAT much talent there. Honies are always peppered around in a place like that, but i wouldn't say the CA factor (concentration of ass) was extraordinarily high. But then again, I'm sure I probably didn't see lolahotass. ;)

Now I have a tip for you stags. If you want a sight to see, go over to that shithole, the Porterhouse, and get a gander at the bartenders there -- bella! The place is a cesspool.... but boy do they know how to recruit the troops.

It's too bad about this Matrix place. Sutra always lagged behind Voodoo.....it would have been nice to see some competition.

porter house is a shit hole, but they always have a crowd there... but i never venture into the bar, but don't consider matrix out of the game, maybe once they see that their way of doing things ain't working, they may change.. Its too early to call them out...

There was 10 girls behind where we almost fought and one brunette at the end of the bar that was::eek: :eek: :eek:

whats going on at stereo? they are only opend on saturdays... i once heard rumors about a new party there, but nothing in a while...

i just don't understand how you can say there was no chicken heads at side bar.. The place was off the hook for chicks... its a must return for sure...:eek: :eek:

All in all, the night was a blast.............the only thing that sucked was the shitty hangover I had most of the day today. But I just back from the Ale House - 3 pitchers of beer and suddenly I feel better:laugh: :laugh:

Wish I would have known it at the time. Can't remember any faces. Maybe one day i'll meet some of you folks. I go to Side Bar often. I usually start the night there when i'm down in FTL.

Thanks Volup;) Well, if you were standing on the outside balcony looking into the bar (on the 2nd floor of course), we were the crew hanging on the right hand side directly across from the bar.

Side Bar is my new hang-out - I totally dig the place:D

I was only up there in the loft for a few minutes to kill some time while waiting on friends, so didn't really get the full scope of the place. I remember walking out to the balcony for a few seconds, and then walking back inside and that's when i heard all the hubbub. Bizarre coincidence I witnessed this little scene though, huh?

But i agree. Side Bar is a cool place to hang. It gets very cramped however. If only there were a way to expand the capacity.

I also forgot to mention this. Rush Street, which is next door to the Side Bar and another cool place to drop in, started charging $5 cover. I was disgruntled by this, finding it very pretentious. First, it's not a club, not even close. Second, it's a shitty business decision because most people just drop in and spend some dough on drinks before they hit Voodoo or Sutra. A $5 cover will drive many of these people away.....no cover, no drinks......and they will end up at the already constipated Side Bar. This is not good for those who enjoy Side Bar like you folks. Just watch all the problem drunk assholes crop up. Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news :(

You are right to the point about Rush Street. We don't pay but I would not pay to go there. Those drunk assholes don't look like regulars and the sidebar. It tends to be an older more professional looking crowd. We were there for 2 hrs and there was a consistant flow of hunnies going throught the place.

one night we'll meet up, I don't pay at rush, drink free half the time and never wait on line, I got it hooked up there also.. Even the lesbian bar tender gives me free beer....:eek: and my girl runs the beer tub on saturdays on the hip hop side...

I like Side Bar and I’d would have really gotten upset if I had to hit this drunk. I like the owners and I would never want to be disrespectful in their place, but this guy needed to go. Also, NICK - great job hooking us up at Star Bar! Its a very nice spot and I can see how (with the right music), it will be an easy place for Sami and I to hang.

As to Stereo, I know the owner and we bumped into him a few weeks ago. He says they are working on something...
