x-phactor
tiesto should no way in hell be #1. his mixing skills are mediocre at best. hes a decent producer but dj? come on he plays the same 10 records over and over and his sets are pretty much identical..no way does he deserve #1 on the list yet on the top 10. my $.02...my #1 dj is of course, the god himself, PVD!!!! slyonspromos
Def agree Tiesto should be #1 i mean the guy only had 23 hits in the past year that were top 3 in the world and 37 in the top 10. His crowd control also gives him a right to be number #1. The fact that he can take a track and turn it upside down and make a top hit out of it thats what it means to be #1 in the world. llovesd
He just brings out the best in the crowd and makes you feel happy:)
Codica3
"Who do you think is number one?"Definitely not DJ Tiesto. Not to discredit his skillz or anything but to be #1 amongst thousands of world reknown DJs is a pretty far stretch.
joecrack13
i think tiesto actually sucks to be honest...i have so many live sets of his and they all sound identical and in most of them he plays the same records...its to tough to say who the best is...my favorites always fluctuate...my favorite all time is Mr Oakenfold (i know ill get chewed out for that one)...currently my favorite DJ is "the king of all tribal beats" Mr Steve Lawler as John Digweed referred to him as....the guys amazing with the energy i can get off him...i must say PVD has never let me down either

brickhouse
I can think of 3 trance DJs with better mixing ability and better track selection than Tiesto, so that probably keeps him out of #1 in my book. Yeah he has good crowd control, but his production really shouldn't be a factor. My top 3 (hard to say which is #1):J Da Flex - Best Track selection, solid but not superb mixerStanton Warriors - Good track selection, near perfect mixing, and great samplingDJ Quest - Better track selection than Stantons, better mixing than J, butnot superb at anything except maybe deciding when the next track should be coming in. bloodofthewolf
Tiesto is unlike any other dj out there, he mixes the most amazing sets. Listening to him is a etheral expeirence words can't describe it. Who else get 450 a head at a club?
