velvetrope Posted November 28 Report Share Posted November 28 ok i go there with friends and my girlfriend. we get in with no problem and we are having a great time. but we had a preparty at my house before the club cause we know it is going to be so packed. my girlfriend is underage. so she drank a lil bit. she isn't drunk at all. we are at the club and she gets sick. so she goes to the ladys room with her friend. i stand outside the girls room waiting for her to get out, cause i care about her alot and want to make sure she is ok. a bouncer comes to me and says you have to move now. i ask him nicely and say my girlfriend is in there and sick i need to stay here till she gets out. he says no you need to move now. he didn't even listen to what i have to say. when people disrespect me i will give them a dirty look. so as he is looking at me hard my girlfriend comes out tripping over another girl into the bouncer that is looking at me. i try to go hug her and he grabs her by the arms and pushes her to the wall. not knowing she is my girlfriend and that she is sick. so i swing at him and get kicked out. i don't care who you are. if anyone ever pushes my girlfriend or friend then i am going to act against it. i worked in a club for 2 years and bouncers do not have the right to throw someone up against a wall for no reason. that was the worst i have ever seen a nightclub bouncer act. i go to club abyss weekly. i know alot of promoters and directors and i will not be going back anytime soon unless i get an apology. two of my friends have standed up for me tonight and tryed to complain but all we did was get pushed away. . I dont think any club can help that. I recently had a problem with something taken from my car. While it went unresolved i can say the staff at Abyss was amazing how they handled the situation. Early the next day one of the promoters was on the phone with the club when i called they knew all about it and did the best thye could on thier part to assist in a matter that was practially out of their hands. I do think Abyss and Deko have the best staff any club can offer. i know if i had a place i woud surely run it modeled after the job that everyone from demetri and kosta right down to the last person there do. They definatly listen to what their customers have to say and do the best to keep us coming back. i am sure that will be resolved quickly. Haave a happy thanksgiving dude i know alot of people there, i was sitting outside in the cold for over about an hour. without our coats. i tryed to get back inside just to get my jacket to warmup my girlfriend.and it didn't happen. i never had a proble like this. i always thought abyss and deko had great staff untill tonight. i mean if someone came outside and opolgied then it would be cool and i could understand it, but nobody did and i was treated like i was nobody. no club owner should treat anyone the way i was tonight. it doesn't matter who i know. if it was my first time there i would still act the same. i am still so pissed about this. if this was just a good friend of mine and not a girlfriend i would act the same. cause we did nothing wrong. i tryed to help someone that was sick and needed another persons help but all i do was get pushed away. i hope someone of the abyss staff reads this and gets back to me to solve this problem. my friend DJ DAVID QUEST is going to be spinning on December 18th and if nobody settles this then our night will be ruined. my name is Jack Z. and my cell number is732-881-0373. i want someone from club abyss to call me settle this matter.Z Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Haave a happy thanksgiving I am gonna agre......I have had good experinces at bad clubs, bad experinecences at good clubs, and okay experiences at okay clubs, but as long as you know what's going on...Yeah, your girl was sick and to you the (he's doing his job)might have been rude, but you know the deal..don't let that keep you from having a good time there again.....I hope you and your girlfriend are better.......Besides it's all about the fun you make and the damage you cause....lol..... velvetrope Posted November 28 Author Report Share Posted November 28 i totally understand the bouncer was trying to do his job, but the way he did it in was poor. he should of said that she needs to leave instead of pushing her out of the way and trying to get to me. i knew she wasn't going to be able to stay there. so her friends went looking for everyone so we can get our coats and leave. the bouncer didn't give two shits about what i had to say and didn't care that i just wanted to help her. when someone is sick they should not be pushed up the stairs. i had to keep leaning back on the bouncer so she would get up ok. i have been to abyss to many times and had alot of fun there everytime with no problem. i just feel that the way the situation was handled, it was poor. yes i was drunk last night but i still stand for what i said. i am not saying the night was horrible. just for what happend to me. i bet the rest of the night was great and that manny played some sick shit. but the way i was treated makes me not want to go back.Z Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Z Jack, i've been an employee @ abyss for over 4 years and someone such as yourself who says they have been working in clubs for 2 years should know that regardless if a minor drinks at home, in the club or in the parking lot, the club can still be held liable should something happen to her or if the venue gets raided.Regardless if you say if she was drink or not makes no difference if a bouncer sees a person stubbling out of the bathroom, even if she just felt sick. I bouncer at any venue would pull her over to the side and question her. If she was only just sick she would be taken outside. Second im sure you know that the are you were in by the bathrooms are very heavily congested do to the fact that ppl are moving between both levels and some are entering and exiting the restrooms. I have seen customers fall all the way down the stairs because people were standing by the bathrooms or on the stairs themselves. I have even been told to move for the safty of customers.3. Also you should know that swinging @ a bouncer at ANY venue is not a smart idea. I understand you were being protective of your gf but i dont think a bouncer would have thrown a girl up against a wall with force that could have hurt her. You should have known to defuse the situation and letting the bouncer do his job and escort her out if thats what he needed to do then you could have talked to club managment or a promoter and explain the situtation and you most likely would have been all let back in.I wasnt present to see any of this, so im speaking from experience from working with these ppl for the past few years. I think everyone including yourself made some errors in judement that nite. we all know the rules with underage drinking, it was her choice to drink before she goes in the club. i am of age and my friends that are underage know i will not buy them a drink. the point i am trying to make is that if the bouncer has listend to me when i started talking to him then things wouldn't of ended up like this. he would have known my girl was sick i even tryed to ask him if he would help her up the stairs but he was to busy trying to push me out of the way. i know it was very heavily busy. and yes i made some wrong judgements that night cause i was also drinking before and at the club so i didn't think about my actions. i apoligize for that but i still think it is fucked up that the bouncer didn't bother to listen to me. me and my friends already knew we had to get her out of there thats why i waited. i understand that the bouncer can't help and watch over everyone cause the place was extremly packed but he can call for someone else to help us. I have been to Abyss -Hunka Bunka-Rbar-DEko--only once and never again. For the amount of money you spend, the aggravation that you have to go through dealing with all the personalities and meathead bouncers who think theiy are cops-or are and are dicks, why not go to Manhatten. See, then, what I notice happens is that people from around Jersey end up going to the same clubs like Abyss in Manhatten. Guido Clubs!!! They suck-you cant relax and just enjoy yourself, Everyone thinks they run the club, or who the fuck they are.The staff will fuck you up if your high, caught getting high, or a drunken mess. Some guy wants to fight you for looking at him the wrong way or because his girl is a attention whore and is sweating you in front of them. Get "time out NY" a friend or two and find another party in Manhatten to go to, fuck the wack club scene out here, try it be brave, fuck the Heathers.
