vinyllab
Please Don't attempt to drive this morning unless it's an emergency. I've just returned home (North of DC) from DC and the roads haven't been this bad since the Big Storm of'95. 495 outerloop was Bumper to Bumper for miles at 6am. If you MUST drive, please be careful and drive safe. pluryou
I walked to work and saw like 3 cars stuck trying to get up a hill. It was pretty bad. Be careful and enjoy it if you can.

cookiegirl
This is pretty run-of-the-mill by Vermont standards -- it's funny to sit back and watch DC'ers freak out over a few inches of the powdery stuff. . .the attempts at plowing are downright hilarious! I've never seen a city population with so many SUV's and absolutely no idea how to use 'em.
pluryou
I am proud of being a Southerner. I am liking the snow. I feel bad for the ppl who drive though. Well, I cant say much cause I dont drive. I am sure it could be much worse and if I end up going to Germany I will feel the full wrath of what snow can do.
crank47
You mean the big storm of '96. 94-95 there was barely any snow. Now 93-94, there's a winter to remember! Mountains of snow all over the US!

I put some new shoes on my Audi about a month ago and let me tell you I was flying yesterday. Can't beat the all wheel drive system they have............about the only thing those Germans are good for.
