My friend from work told me he's HIV positive. I guess all I can really do is continue to be his friend. It's a shame I can't do anymore. Life sucks sometimes. I actually am in a situation sorta like that now with a close friend . . . Its not nearly the magnitude of what your friend is gonna go through, but its the same type of incurable pain that no matter how hard you search, you can't find anything to soothe it with . . . My advice to you is to continue to show support and consideration as a friend. At times like that I bet he feels like he is completely alone.
